Lighting Cobshop.net info, questions and answers

God damit! Over time shift was cancelled for this weekend.. thats put me off buying cobs for another week :cuss:

I wanted to let everyone know that I made some changes to the site.

The 4000k and 6500k cobs are now available at a lower price.

The almost complete is now available with 3500k,4000k and 6500k cobs. There is also an option for either the standard bjb holder which is perfect for series wiring and the ideal holder which is best for paralell wiring.

I also dropped the price on the 4 pack. 4 complete cob lights at 125 each.

@BigSm0 What's the difference between the 3500k and the other ones? Are any of them more efficient than the other? Sorry I'm a complete cob newbie but would like to add as side lighting to my black dog 200w in my 2x2. What area would one cob cover?

The numbers 3500k ,4000k and 6500k are the spectrum. The 3500k is a great veg and flower light with plenty of red and blue. The 4000k has more blue and the 6500k is the bluest. As for the light your using now 2 cobs would out perform it while drawing much less wattage which equals less heat. The max coverage on these is 24x24 while 16x16 is ideal.

Thanks @BigSm0 I think I would go with the 3500k are these sufficient enough for veg? I grow mostly autoflower although I do have a few photo beans if that makes a difference.

Absolutely, this is all I use for veg and flower in my 4 x 4 space and have had nothing but good results. I have also switched up to 3500k citizens in my 4x12 space and haven't seen growth this good since I started growing.

Pretty much all countries outside USA, Mexico and Canada ship for the same price.
1-2 cobs fit in a medium flat rate box for 66usd
3-4 cobs fit in a large flat rate box for 86usd
Shipping says 6-12 days but it's more like 6-8
