I saw these coming in stock at CDI. Can be ran at 175w and match a 100w cxb3590. (They stock matching mechatronix gigas) not sure how much the efficiency goes up when they're under driven though.

pacific light concepts has updated their store stock.
they now have 200 watt drivers for $45.00 us dollars and other items for light builds at decent prices.
waiting on my order (just 4 3590's) from PLC now. just got an alert from usps and they should be on the way. yeahhh

They have a selection tool but I can't get the sucker to work on my mobile(I don't have a computer).

LER is 324 for 3000k 80cri iirc so 162lm/w is that 50% sweet spot.

Heatsinks for 3590 at PLC. Drilled and tapped $17

And all other components for 3590 building. If you're stateside it's about $80 cheaper than the cutter kits, with a bigger heatsink.

And of course the pre-wired timber kits are about the same price as cutter(when you add reflectors)

PLC is great, too bad it's US only

For EU guys there are very few options, seems Arctic Alpine 64+ is the best for this purposes.

I dont think the citizen cobs get the eff boost as much as cree does at lower drive currents, but at their rated current, some are 160l/w which isnt shabby at all considering their price.
