Cloning Autoflowers

I've cloned plenty of photos. So I have an idea about what to expect in the next 10 days.
Pending how autos behave compared to photos in cloning
What I can advise is, keep light low during the cloning process...we don't want the plant concentrating on photosynthesis, but rather on root growth.

We're having fun with this right?
Oh Waira oh @Waira. where art thou?:cooldance:

I took cuttings 2 weeks ago from an early flowering plant that I was trying to force pollen from. Still in humidity dome. still mostly green. Some yellowing of bottom leaves. Still trying to force pollen sacs. Have not examined them for sacs in a week or so. I'll post pics later.

:shooty:

Wish I still had the time to pursue myth busting more often. Life had led me in other directions that have consumed my time. Still, If I see something that really irks me........
And yes, this is a good one so I'll contribute!

Do it up! You're the original AFN myth buster (in fact, we created this subforum because of you if you remember lol.)

As I said I have not looked at them for at least a week. To my great surprise not only do they have roots, the roots are growing out of the cups. I placed them in clear cups then in opaque cups. What a boon who knew this thread would be asking for roots, and what better proof of life than clear solo cups. If I am not mistaken the female parts that existed at the nodes have shriveled and been replaced with swelling ball sacs.

I've been curious to see if tissue culture would work well with autos. Using tissue from seedlings maybe or at least very young plant. I tried but I'm not OCD enough to not screw up the cleanliness protocols, though i may try again. Would love to see someone else pick up the torch on this one!

I'll be ordering some ready-made agar petri dish soon, wouldn't mind giving it a go

@FTF_damien50 has studied a bit up on it I know; sounds like it's an extremely STERILE process.
