I would rather start 5 days later in autopots and get more wide roots then start faster and only get one main root into bottom of pot. Because when you start autopots, then roots will not search widely for water, only straight down. Seems good idea to me, I think one member uses this techique and get 500g monsters in coco.

@Nosias Its the first time using my Chilled, Its the 100 Watt, draws 90. No controller, I have set at full go. Its sitting at 18 inches from seedlings. They are 3 days old so I believe you are much further along then I. Talking with the people at Chilled, they say keeping it at 18-24 inches is idea for these 2 plants. Later on I may rise because I'm not sure if there will be enough light. But they will be getting some side boob action from the autocobs that are in the same tent.

Thanks friend. My last bean is popping out just now 12:45 PM here in CO. I too have the light at 18". For the first few days I have the newbies at the edge of th tent. Not under direct light, then I move them after that to a good spot. I have 5 Auto pots going now

Great news. Stay safe and be careful. It is usually the flooding that kills the people and the downed power lines. This one will not have much rain, as I see.

:eek1:
