hey dude lookin good : ) ill have to go catch the last of your last grow. missed the ending apparently lol. i seen you mention about solo cups and best root growth etc there. im no coco grower but @Teetee grows some wicked coco monsters by transplanting late veg. pretty ballsy but the results speak for themsleves : )
Thanks Evil.
I have one plant to harvest, in 2-3 weeks. Then that one will be completed.

Just goes to show you what can happen if you keep the stoned stoner out of the med tent. :)
I took a look at Bud wiser uk and he has an impressive out door garden. I understand it really all is about the roots. In DWC the roots are the main concern.

A lot of photo growers use the solo cups as the starting place. The roots are confined in the limited space. The cups "channel" the roots deep as they can not spread out more than the diameter of the cup. So the roots go down. In the Auto Pots you want the roots to go down FAST as possible. Then you can hit them with the air domes and water reservoir.
I read on Massmom thread that she was told to put the cup, after removing the bottom, into the coco. Then plant the seed there in the cup. I feel it is also useful to limit the area to water. IMHO no need to water all around the stem, thus encourage the spreading wide of the roots. So I used a section of the 1/4" tubing, put one end in the nute mix and siphoned it only inside the cup. All three of my plants took a day to shake off being drowned and now they have taken off.

I have also seen growers who fill the Auto pots with coco and a solo cup upright that is filled with coco. They then remove the cup and plant in the cup. When the roots are ready the plant is transplanted into the empty space.
There are so many great working ideas, just have to find the ones that work for you best.

I'll take look at Teetee.

Thanks for tripping in

That's actually why I like the rhizocore lids that I use. I cut a hole out of the middle, so the root can go straight down to the reservoir. I've been having roots reach the water in less than a week before. I learned that method from @hotbuns

Thanks for the input. I started out in a lava rock set up, top feed. The water did not drip but was a full blast of water and splash :) It worked beautifully.

I have my new bean in the auto pot with the plastic solo cup in the middle and cut out bottom. I cut off the bottom 1/3. Then planted the Root Riot with the new bean. Bean went straight from the fridge into the Root Riot. It has been three days and no sign of life. I know it will pop, no doubts about it. I plan then to water only inside the diameter of the solo cup. I will use some 1/4" tubing as a siphon and direct the flow into the solo. Also I have now a RO system for the home. It is just for the kitchen sink. I am taking a pastic orange juice bottle and filling a few up at a time. So all systems go.

Give my best to your lady. A good lady is worth their weight in Bitcoins.

@Nosias I'm here, a little late. Lost power for a couple days. Right after I started another grow. Sour Crack under autocobs and Double Grapes under my Chilled, 1 day after they popped out. Hopefully I can save them. No Journal yet

if they are autos then the power outage is not an issue.

You are the only one I know who is using the light. Let e know everything you can about how you are using it. What light do you have? Do you have the controller? Please very very much need to compare, that is if you are able and willing.
