Dude, thanks for inviting me.
As I'm here, may I offer some advice?
I think you're starting them off in containers that are way too big.
Don't focus on what goes on up top, the roots is where it's all at .. look after them, and the rest will look after itself ... just like humans.
I understand your thinking, the less re-potting the better. I don't think that's true .. re-pot according to the roots' needs.
You wouldn't put a baby in king-size bed would you? a cot, nice and snug. :bighug:

I greatly appreciate all advise and help from everyone. :toke:

It is how we all learn, so mucho gracias, senior. I will never be offended that some one here has taken the time to comment or give advise. That is what is so great here at AFN.

I agree with you. It is all about the roots. I have added a few notes in [HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG].
"I saw that some were using a solo cup with the end cut off. Then it is placed in the coco for the initial set up and the Root Riot is played in there. This accomplishes two things. First the water stays close to the stem and goes straighter down. Second the roots do not spread out as far. They can only go as far as the side of the solo. This also help with getting the roots DOWN quicker. So I have tried it on the Royal Queen Northern lights."

I hope this does get those roots down quicker and bigger faster :greenthumb:

I just love your plants. So much thanks for posting the pics here. One day soon I hope to have mine looking so good.

Thanks for tripping in. They are looking great. And to my eyes I can see them grow even with my 20 looks a day !!!!!

Just kidding.....:crying:

Thats a good way to learn how to grow. Right now at this grow i spend hours and hours looking at them just to learn how they grow and respond to different things. I can just sit and look for a hour straight a couple times a day. And they grow in front of your eyes... wait until stretch, have a joint... spend some time with them and you will be amazed how fast they grow.

I do sit with them a lot. Retired and ready to grow.
I talk to 'em and tell them they are doing fine, but they can do more.

hey dude lookin good : ) ill have to go catch the last of your last grow. missed the ending apparently lol. i seen you mention about solo cups and best root growth etc there. im no coco grower but @Teetee grows some wicked coco monsters by transplanting late veg. pretty ballsy but the results speak for themsleves : )
