I have been thinking about this since this thread started.
I have different reason behind each challenge, my ONLY condition is NO CONDITIONS other than same strain from an AFN vendor.
You grow your way, with as many lights of whatever type, whatever light schedule, whatever nutrient regime, in any medium want you want and I will do it my way.
If you accept my challenge, name the date you can start.
My Challenge Call Outs!

dammit! I have just been informed that one of my call outs is "unavailable" ! I think that is some G..(content deleted for the sake of young children and those of sensitive dispositions) My only real grudge match down in flames before I can call it out!

@Muddy, no grudge match here, The Master vs his Student. Muddy held my hand through more than one grow here and encouraged me to dive into hydro. I know exactly who helped me get past some of the nerves of stealth growing with patience and an easy manner. It would really be about growing with him than against him. What do you say Muddy? We might even have some of the same ShortStuff stock for the strain.

Hello growers, I'm planning on doing another round of hubbabubbaSmelloscopes after my current HBBS's. Probably in the star of the new year due to guests coming over. I'll be doing 3 again and was wondering if anyone would like to have a grow off with me? I know it's usually one plant but I've got a big tent and wouldnt want just one on the go.. Any takers?

I'm not sure I qualify, however, I did document 4 plants in my first ever grow right here on AFN. I'll be starting a Nirvana Swiss Cheese right in that time frame, as I'm chopping 2 Northern Lights (Pyramid) and finally the last Jock Horror (Nirvana) within the next two weeks (all undocumented). I'm game if the powers that be give the nod. Here's what you would be up against:
1 Nirvana Swiss cheese...AutoFem
4x4x6 tent
600w HPS/MH ducted with fans etc
General Hydroponics Water Farm with my modifications (added aerator to BOTH controller unit and solution bucket) Drip recycling
Gen Hydro trio...Micro/Gro/Bloom/CalMag/Hydroguard (for roots, Bionocare)...and a dose of shooting powder somewhere around weeks 9 or 10.
Lighting schedule: 20/4 veg...18/6 during the stretch...finishing light schedule TBD by how far ahead you are at that point!
CO2 injection ONLY during the stretch
Using Coco-Noir with a generous amount of perlite (hate hydroton)

I've not grown this phenotype previously. having a little competition would be great for me as I got a little careless and lazy recently... My NL yielded only 7.5oz using above methods.

So...whaddaya "THINK"?

Hey man sounds like a decent setup. Are you think of growing hubbabubbasmelloscope? I'll be growing 3 at the same time. Even though the feeding is different and you'll be using CO2 I'll be will to challenge you lol. Might get walked all over but it would be fun. I've just finished a harvest of 3 hubbabubbas and came in at 19.6 oz's they all came in at 6.3-6.6 Oz each.

Unfortunately I don't have any HBBS's...
I do have Swiss Cheese, White widow, short ryder, AK48.
I perused your grow journal and am impressed!
I guess we ought to use the same genetics, but I've got all the nuts I can use right now. Assuredly looking forward to trying the Mephisto genetics tho...
If allowed...I'll pit my ONE Swiss Cheese against your BEST HubbaBubbaSmelloscope of the three!

I've been wanting to do a CFL spiral bulb, DIY grow for awhile now. Something about the idea of growing a plant start to finish only using supplies from the local hardware store really appeals to me. I've got an extra closet I can dedicate to this experiment and could use a SODK, Chemdogging, or Ripley's OG for this grow. If someone is really interested but has a different strain in mind, let me know and I'll order it right away.

Again, the only rules for this challenge would be: 1) Same strain 2) Only spiral CFL bulbs for lighting.

I'm sure others here have done this before, but I'm curious to see the results for myself, thanks all!
