ok there two squares on each side of my tent with velcro flaps...not on top, there is port on top though...so totally do away with intake...whats gonna bring fresh air in, or is the air i pull threw bulb gonna pull fresh air in from passive intake....so the fan im using as intake why not jus put that on other end of hid and force more air out....wouldnt this pull more air in????

When you remove the fan from the bottom right port, it leaves the port open with the ducting. The fan pulling air via your hood and pushing outside is going to be drawing the air from the open port at the bottom right, yes?

I'm so confused..guess I got it as good as its gonna get till I get even better fans..room temp is 75f and tent temp is 82.. I know its simple, this air is kicking my ass,if temp in room is 75 shouldn't tent be close to that, fans are 160cfm,tent is 3x3x6..thought that would be enough, also to square vents should I just leave those open there is one on each side has Velcro on it.

I have a 54x54x84 inches with a 435 CFM 6 Inch Centrifugal Inline Fan. Fan is up in attic. Ducting from fan to top side port on tent. Goes into tent and into hood (YieldMaster something?). Goes out of hood into carbon filter. Carbon filter is at top right on tent. So I have a port on the opposite side, bottom left port with ducting coming out of tent. This pulls the air from the room into tent then thru plants, (other oscillating fans throughout) up to carbon filter, into hood and up to the attic (hot air rises) Keep the room cooled and you have cool air coming in. If you have a portable ac, hook it up in that room to get the temps to drop for time being?

I using one fan to pull air inside tent.other fan is on the hood pulling air through bulb and out the room.couple of fans for circulation,do u have any pics I have some a couple pages back.check them out maybe they will better help u explain to my dumb ass,I know I'm making this so much harder, should of listen to muddy and got the right damn fans the first time:bong:the air I'm pulling in the tent is air from room, room gets like eighty tent gets like 90 and that was wide piece of shit desk fans now with inline duct fans, its about the same room 75 tent is like 83 its like the same.....so I must be doing something wrong right?.....so now did inline fans at 160 cfm, should be a litlle cooler than that right?.....

Heh, I am not to knowledgeable when it comes to airflow. I am thinking if you are FORCING air through with your lower intake fan and the upper intake fan is trying to suck what you are forcing through, causing to much? Perhaps eliminating the lower intake fan and just having the upper would be better than what is going on now? And if you have to wait for a larger intake fan, perhaps getting a y-connector and connecting both existing 160cfm fans to the upper ducting would also help? And if your temps INSIDE the room were lower than cooler air would be pulled through the ducting of the LOWER port (WITHOUT AN INTAKE FAN) thus cooling your tent. Portable AC? And rid of the portable heater! I like my temps to be mid 60's when my lights are off, if possible. Tho summer time is a-coming!

Oh gosh, I cannot remember names, yet, though I think it was bamagrow who referenced the radiant heat from your bulb.

Edit: I tried to find the formula for figuring out what size fan should be had with dimension of growing space. Ahhhh! I'll search some more!

about the same room 75 tent is like 83 its like the same

those are fine... a little cooler never hurts... but that works... use the fan to push or pull air through your cooled hood and out of the tent... new fresh air will be drawn in by that... allow cool air in the bottom and intake the hot air from the top of the tent to be drawn out.

What is considered to hot? I've seen high temps during summer time last year around 85, and the kush berry loved it ;x

Oh, that's lights on and a/c on in the house at a minimal! hehe

thought thtas what I was doing,,, pulling air in through the bottom fan into tent pulling air with other fan on right side of hood have it going out with ducting straight outside but I going threw port in side not top does this matter, sorry for all The confusion,I just don't want these problems my next grow,I know there will always be something but temp should not be one of these....thanks bro
