Wow, what a machineUpdate on Sour Stomper -
Trimmed out the SS yesterday - used the trim bowl for the entire harvest. Don't know what final weight was because I didn't bother with weighing it. I'm guessing 12-14 oz. dry.

Mhmmmm...Dabs...Also, pressed some and got a nice yield/color. I am continually stoked with how the taste/terp profile on the rosin mirrors the flower so closely. This SS smelled very OG Kush to me - early, funky, skunky. Maybe a little citrus or something sharper in there too. The rosin picked all that up.

I usually do some BHO runs but after seeing the nugsmasher on a few threads if has me really interested. How do you like it overall? Would you recommend it?First Extraction
Well, today I got my Nugsmasher Mini and have been putting it through the paces. First up was some Blackstrap. Had to do 215F for this one - think it's sitting at 58-60% in the grove bag and should probably be higher moisture content. Fairly dark but that may be residual pigment too. Didn't weigh it so no idea but probably .5-.75g out of 3.5g flower. The main point is that it's F-ing delicious and is consistent with the flower - still taste the cookie. Really stoked.

I am a total noob when it comes to pressing my own rosin and I have had it for only a couple of weeks, but so far so good. At $420 I think it offers value. I also had an issue (it turned out to be operator error) but got a live CS rep on the phone on a Saturday morning - which impressed me. I have been tracking reported heat values with an IR gun and they are pretty accurate. Also, portability was important to me so that limits the choices. So - I am pleased with my purchase at this point.I usually do some BHO runs but after seeing the nugsmasher on a few threads if has me really interested. How do you like it overall? Yeah that's some good feedback for a company, surprised you got an actual person to help out so that's a bonus. I know a decent BHO setup costs about 600 or more depending so the nugsmasher as a solventless alternative is definitely a contender. Especially since you can just buy the kit for it and bags as needed.I am a total noob when it comes to pressing my own rosin and I have had it for only a couple of weeks, but so far so good. IMHO, YMMV, etc.
Yes - I am able to run 3-4 presses an hour (not really pushing it either) usually when I'm doing other things - like trimming. So that's approx. 2-3 g of rosin which is plenty for me for a while. It's pretty efficient. I don't weigh my squishes so I don't know what the yields are exactly other than noting that it substantially increased using weed that was freshly dried as opposed to 30-60 days into cure.Plus the mini seems better for people who don't want massive amounts of concentrate or have to deal with all the work when it comes to solvents. I know it takes me forever to use it all for a single bho run and a 3.5g run would leave my options open for testing strains and doing smaller runs for personal use without worrying it'll go bad before I can use it
