Canna pro plus

Hey folks hope everyone doing well. Just a couple quick questions for first time growing in coco. I'm using Canna coco pro plus, canna nutes (vitalink calmag). I know its pretty buffered and such but do you water it through with a diluted nute solution before planting as there isn't any nutes in it'll? Ill be using 1/4 nutes to start with using canna grow guide.
Also trying to get my head round the EC. I'm in UK so water is pretty good. Using the meter I bought (pic below) it measured about 0.2 i think. Am I better using the EC or ppm function. I know they convert somehow but can't get my head around it haha. Thanks for any advice.

i usually soak mine with 1,5ml per liter of cal mag and begin with nutes a few days after planting and i would recommend using the e.c scale

Braw thanks ill do that. This is the measurement from my meter of my tap water so I'm assuming that means my ec is 0.13 or there abouts.

I used CalMag to bring the EC up to 0.4 and used Canna Start

Ill do that for first few days before adding A and B. Found a chart that explains the EC and ratios etc. Only way to learn is by experience

Ill be using rhizo as well from the start. I take it I want to start around 0.4 and work my way up each week or each few feedings and see how they like it? Is there an EC i should avoid throughout veg or the grow.
