Mephisto Genetics Canna-Cheese 1:1 medicinal automatics by mephisto

Very nice structure on her. Looks to be an 80+day plant.
Definitely a nice structure. I'm betting about 90 days on her in total but a monster plant at 90 days and ready for the chop like a happy plant. I'll gladly take this long of a flower for such a nice looking girl
Good looking plant!
May i ask what exactly is a 1 for 1 strain? Is it the same % of CBD and THC ?
You are correct a 1:1 (1 to 1) has the same amount percentage wise of thc and cbd (or whatever cannabinoids are substituted when described. When not noted a 1:1 describes the relationship between thc and cbd percentages as I noted above).
Stan had informed me it was in the 10% area for each which is pretty good.
There are a number of autos which were breed to be just cbd and they only obtain about 7%cbd. So 10% cbd alone is a good result. But a 1:1 around 10% is great especially since it's got cannatonic and nch in it which both have great abilities for epilepsy which my hubby has and lots of other medical uses... AND it's an auto

Day 30
Shes happy, healthy and reaching for the sky slowly
Please excuse the 2 clones I have just half living there. They are just hanging out as mini bonsai beginners and i havent fed them yet as i want them to stunt since they are photos and a full tent and no room

Getting bigger! Looks like she might get tall? What are the clones that you have going? Do they have roots? I can help you with Cloning. If you use my method you will have roots in 5 to 7 days always. But most importantly they dont skip a beat and will look as healthy as when you clipped them. Coco is by far the best way to clone plants. You can use your maxigro at half strength and a little cloning gel. I have cloned hundreds upon hundreds of clones using coco, 5 to 9oz clear cups, and cloning gel. The secrets for sucess is to make sure temps are close to 80F and to water your coco to a MINOR amount of runoff. Then SQUEEZE out the excess water by pushing DOWN on the coco. Once the majority of the moisture is out push UPWARDS on the bottom of the cup. This releases the coco from the bottom of the cup, because you pushed the moisture out of the bottom. Take a Chop stick and make a hole for the stem. Take your clone, use some gel, and plant the clone by packing the the stem nice and tight with the Coco. I do gently scrape my stems before adding gel.

Here is the most important part to speed things up by days. Cover your clones and on Day 5, turn the clone Upside down and plopp the clone out of the cup for a minute. This gives the newly forming root zone a dose of fresh air. It is the key to speeding up root formation, as within 24-48 hours you will have nice healthy roots! The faster you can get roots on a clone the less stress they endure and the faster they will grow. I promise you that the Day 5 removal of the clone from the cup is a huge tip that will make youre roots explode. Now, the next part is to BOTTOM feed your clones 1/2 strength Maxigro by using the Double cup method. Use a very minor anount of water in the bottom of the feeder cup and let it wick ot up. Just for a few days and then transplant. You will.see a huge difference in your clones if you do this. Roots need 3 things to grow well, moisture, heat, and Oxygen. Good luck, slow

sorry i am just getting back to you now, shes even bigger now. ill get some photos in a few hours. i think shes gonna get tall and BIG from how shes growing (slow flower, long time in the preflower stage left to go which is great as i think her dwc potential is out of this world)
The clones I have are some of my sequoia cherries clones from my bonsai mother. i have them more for fun. they rooted pretty fast. I use cloning power and rapid rooters and stick them in soil in a solocup, add a ziploc bag over the top and mist daily and this strain is resilient and lives through all the punishment you give it. I'm definitely going to give your clone method a try. Thanks for the tips!

the canna-cheese fan leaves have some fingers that are over 2.5 inches wide, and growing, its out of this world. again, pics coming a bit later on

Day 33.

@Gladiators I need your opinions. Please read the post and throw out ideas. It isnt an infirmary question persue more of a how am I doing and have you had this happen before

She looks to have a bit of tissue necrosis on a few of her early buds but it dosent look bad. It hasent progressed except for once when the tent temps got into the high 80's by accident and I believe it cooked a few early pistils. I have some close ups of the affected areas. Beyond those few areas which didnt have pistils before, no pistils are necrosed. So I think this strain is not tolerant to heat or any temperature changes. In case it was a nutrient issue I also went ahead and did a 1 gallon flush with plain water ph'd to 6.4

Heres the whole plant, overall healthy and there are still pistils on most buds except the top which is still growing and not really flowering much yet

Bunch of magnified pics notice like one or two small leaves got burnt but most is just fine with a few pistils here and there. Most of these pics are the same bud but it represents the worst of it.

So again, that's just different views of the same bud but it is mostly just pictures of the same area from differing angles plus one other bud. Most of the new formation looks ok to me.

No pistils dosent bother me as pretty dosent equate to works well. Plus as it being a tester, it gives real world conditions.

Any comments or suggestions on how this is able to be alleviates besides keeping environment in better check and watch the nutes closely, please let me know

Wish I could help you missu but I guess if it doesn't get worse might just be weird mutant thing happening
That was what someone else told me too, and it's an idea I didnt think about. I find it interesting more than anything. But as long as I get a good yield of quality bud that helps the hubby I couldnt care less how few pistils are on there. And trichs are already visible on those magnified views. Thanks for the help @Steviestash ! :d5:

just keep an eye on it. It may be nothing to worry about. Temps in the 80's shouldn't cause problems, I've had my airconditioner go out in summer and hit 110F!

What's to RH?
Hey @pop22 I havent seen you in forever! The guy who got me my start on AFN! Tines have changed and my plants are a "little" bigger and better than when I started  . I will never forget your help. As always thanks!

Anyway, I'm going to be keeping an eye on it and will be taking magnifies pics. I might find my hubbys USB microscope and ask him if I can use it since idk what happened to the one I bought a few years back (I think he has it anyway).

It's making me feel less stressed knowing it's not me :)

The RH is about 50% I know that's like right on the edge of acceptable for right now but no other plants in the tent are effected so it's just this plant.

So extremely disappointing news is the plant's buds are completely yellow looking and not growing and continuing to die. The plant itself is perfectly fine and no issues noted anywhere except the buds. They look ok under the magnifying glass but not very healthy. I'm not sure it's a good idea to wait any longer. I'm considering culling it and restarting. Its disappointing losing this much time and yet another set back we again cant afford but I guess it comes with the territory. I'm just not sure what happened. I would hate to cull it and then come to find out it will live but I know how these things go, it's not going to have any buds, so it needs to be culled. So I'll be starting over. So day 1 will start over in a few days. Nothing but positive vibes on my end

So sorry this did not go well for you. Plant looks so healthy otherwise. Think it is something like blossom end rot? Keep us posted. We learn together.
With my record, I would be suspicious that I accidentally seeded the plant, causing pistols to regress. Any chance?
Don’t get discouraged!
