Indoor Candy Kush Scrog

Yeah i hear a lot about fishmix, whats the deal with it? You use it as a grow nute or all the way through? I'm going to start experimenting with different nutes in a future (possibly even next) grow, but for now I'm keeping it simple as possible! I got a pack of biobizz nutes pretty cheap online and they are going pretty well so far, I found a pretty simple feeding schedule online that i used that did the trick. A little tweak here and there but otherwise grand! Thanks for stopping by Noods!

Fish mix is great, myself and a good few other growers on here have used it instead of the bio grow. Its got a lot more organic properties in it than the bio grow and you can really see the difference in your plants health with this stuff.
For the price of it (cheap) its really good to use along side bio grow from what i have read. i think biobizz recommend that you alternate between the two on every other feed. But im not sure where i read that so dont hold me to it. Those seedling are looking nice and fresh dude.

DAY 2 - WEEK 1

Well they survived the night!

They are looking healthy, a little stretching but as im scrogging thats exactly what i want! Having some major heat issues with the 400w though, this morning it was 32 in there! Not good at all. Ive taken a fan from its base and layed it down in the tent pointing up, which is helping but not exactly a permanent fix! With ice and the extra fan it's just a touch above 30. I truly hope thats good enough for them as until i can upgrade my extraction fan i fear it's the best i can do!

I have moved the last flowering bubblegum (which is showing no signs of quitting any time soon) to the side so I've got a few inches in light height to play with, i just habe to rotate her a couple of times a day... so other than my heat troubles it's all good! Just gotta hope they got some fight in them and don't get fried! Wish me luck!

I'm sure they will be fine bro, as long as you have a good circulation of air, you can get away with 32, I have anyway, so long as it's not all the time.

Sending some :karma Cloud: for the babies bud.

Scrap that batwing reflector and get yourself an aircooled reflector or a cool tube. You can set it up to connect everything to your one extraction fan. "My 2 cents"

Like
-----> Carbon Filter----ducting------aircooled cool tube------ducting-----extraction fan-----> blowing air out. So the extraction fan is pulling air through the filter, then cooling off the light, then being extracted.

Yeah dude, a cooltube would do the trick but what I'm really after is an LED... just had my electric bill through and it was pretty big! I got the 400 for free so i think I'll have to put up with it for a while... im hoping once the new gn units are out there will be a whole load of ms0006's going cheap haha! Then i can lose a fan and save a fortune on electricity! Seedlings are still doing well, I'll do an update this evening. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the info grim, yeah sounds good i think I'll get hold of some and give it a try! Hate the smell of fish thouh haha! :Sharing One:

WEEK 1 - DAY 4

Still having a ton of trouble with temperatures in the tent, even with the extra fan and ice I'm struggling to get them below 30 and quite often they're 32... the seedlings don't seem to mind though if anything they are more advanced than my last girls were at 4 days, and I've checked what a few other people's grows and they certainly aren't stunted.... yet. Is this a good sign that they can handle it?
They have stretched to about 3" tall now, I've moved the light closer so they shouldn't reach too much more but I'm wondering if the stems need some support? Humidity is a constant 65%, here's what they look like:

Don't they look like twins! :roflcry:
Anyway, any input greatly appreciated, hope you've all had a fantastic weekend.

They look nice and healthy bro :) I think they woulda showed bad signs by now if they were bothered.

Sweet little babies, Dread. Stay diligent with your ice bottles and circulation and you should be good. Being in the northern hemisphere, the temperature outside should be dropping soon as winter nears... then the temperature will be a little e more weed friendly. Keep the circulation going and the humidity up and they'll be ok.

A light breeze over the wee ones, in combination with pot rotation will strengthen the stems.
Big Green Grow Karma on the way! :karma Cloud:

Nice to see your on your way again Dread. I can't believe it's still so warm here in the UK. I mean it's almost October!
Be interested to see how you get on with the fish mix, if you get some. My local hydro shop only had the grow so that's the way I went.
