I will do that. I asked because of the possible loss in length, but i guess going to 16 or 14 ga wire could help. You have built exactly what i want except i only want to build 2 lights. So im very grateful! Thanks

1.5 meters max is recommended length from driver to cobs.

Run 18gauge, or even 16, from the driver to a junction box or connection to the light wiring and you'll be fine, I believe I saw 18 tested and the voltage drop was like .02, well within safe zone. find no limit of a 1.5 meter in the documention of Meanwell drivers.

Regarding the


driver outside the tent or box, does it matter how much wire(lenght) is between the driver and the cobs? Would 7 or 8 ft be ok to get it outside the tent?
