A quick question if anyone can help. I need to change the time of my light cycle. Lights currently come on at noon and go off at midnight. I need to change it to 3pm to 3am because of the warmer season. Is it fine to just change the cycle? Risk of hermies or anything? Cheers

I’ve never seen hermies with a change in light schedule, but I’ve only got a dozen grows under my belt. Maybe someone else more experienced could answer.

Where are we, starting the third week of flower. Both stretching, AK47 more vigorously. Amnesia haze just isn't hungry and goes slow. I've had to raise her about 8cm to keep things level.

Nutes are now equal 3ml/L grow and 3ml/L bloom, feeding every other day. Temps are getting up to 29'c and humidity is 40 to 50%. Cruising

Next time if I mainline for 8 mains again I will know to tie the branches down in the early stages to keep them equal. Their tops are not equal at all because I just let them grow after the third topping.

Also, I am having trouble containing the smell. My exhaust fan, carbon filter and ducting are all fine, but the tent has a gap around the zip. I can cover it with duct tape and then no smell gets out, but that will gunk up the zip eventually. The Amnesia haze is such a stinker as well, so the smell fills my apartment. Any ideas for plugging this gap are welcome, cheers

Don't know whether it is a risk, but I doubt it. You could just do the change in one hour bits per day to be safe if you are concerned.

I remember reading about other grows where power outages caused a lot more stress than what you are talking about, and there was no mention of problems for the plants.

Great shout there mate I'll raid the missus' make up drawer for some cotton and stuff the gap. I ordered a stronger exhaust fan so there shold be negative pressure soon, get all the air out through the filter.

And looks like nothing to worry about on the lights cheers

I use diy LEDs as well, and they work great. If you find the plants getting leggier than you want, just add a few more. If the bulbs are actually 20 watts, you are already in the zone for power for that tent. A bit more likely would not hurt, but you should do fine as is.

Much obliged bud, but oh if only that amnesia haze was a bit more leggy one thing is the warm white bulbs in now for flower actually get pretty hot, I couldn't add any more than 8 for that reason. This will have to do for now and like you say, for what it is, it'll suffice :smoking:

Week 7 of flower, the business end of things. Been a really hard week for the girls cos of extremely humid weather. Couldn't get the tent below 70% at times and even got above 80%. Horrible for plants in flower. I ripped off loads of leaves to try to get control. Awful idea, it was painful to do and it made no difference at all! But now I got a new extractor fan the Vents TT 100 and wired it up to a dimmer switch, and the weather has eased a bit so humidity is down to 50-60%. Still higher than I'd like. Anyways here are the girls, AK on the right and Amnesia Haze on the left.

Biobizz schedule says to keep up the N until harvest but with all these leaves removed I won't give them any biogrow this week. They're getting 5ml/L biobloom instead of the recommended 4ml/L grow and 4ml/L bloom. Cheers

Veg space is busy with all sorts of neat plants as well as the dope. That there's a Jorge's Diamonds from Dutch Passion. As anyone who's tried her can attest this is one tasty mf, I need to tag somebody in cos I saw them run her recently

And this is Tatanka pure CBD from Royal Queen, she's zero THC, I grow this to smoke during work/study hours. Scratches the itch. Taste is kinda rough to be honest but my work jar needs a refill

And in the tent, ladies are fine and even the Amnesia Haze is putting on some weight up top.

Feeding 4ml/L biobloom to Amnesia Haze and 2ml/L to AK. Been a real easy grow apart from the humidity a couple of weeks back. Cheers

Into week 9 flower and the girls are on the way out :smoking: didn't take any shots from the usb scope but the trichs on AK47 are all cloudy, and on Amnesia they are a mix of clear and cloudy. Going for 10-20% amber on AK and all cloudy on the haze, so probably down in a week or so.

Will be happy with an oz a piece this run. Next run = longer veg, bigger pots :smoking: cheers!
