Dinafem Bubba Kush & Blue Cheese 1'st Dina Grow

ok guys i was wondering since my temps currently in my tent are at highs around 84 and lows of 73(im running at night and have proper airflow using alot of fans in between the LED and canopy and oscillating fan for the middle section of the plant and fans at root level blowing up.) i was wondering if my conditions are too hot to do this coco run in fear of drying the coco out too much. and i only have some spare 3gal smart pots but ordered some 1 gal smart pots after reading about treating it like a hydro set up and being able to feed the more frequently in a 1 gal pot as opposed to 3 gals am i correct? problem is the 1 gals wont be here till tues so that will put me at 7days for this little girl... im sorry for the questions guys!

You'll be fine mate i grew in 3 gallon pots before(15litres uk )if the pots feel like theyre drying out to fast just water some more, or water twice if you need too. I was averaging 1 litre a day after a couple weeks and my temps were around 26oc/ 78f

ok so what i think im going to do is since i have 3 Dina Bubba Kush beans ill do 1 in a 1 gal, 1 in a 3gal and the last one in which ever i get better results with! but im going to have to do these in separate grows as i have all my spots filled for the next 4 plants. now the question is which one should i do first being my first coco grow a 1gal or 3 gal smartpot?

i plan on doing a 70/30 coco/perlite does that sound right?

ok COCO growers... i expanded some coir just now and added approx 30% perlite. so i tested the "run off" by taking some coir in my hand and squeezing the water out of it to measure PPM and PH(is this correct?) reading were as follows: PH-6.3 PPM 419
are these parameters ok for my substrate? should i condition my soil with any of my additives? b52,voodoo juice,piranha,tarantula? i dont THINK i would put any of my other additives to condition the soil..if so how do i condition? im sorry for all the question but i was told the only dumb queston is the ones that dont get asked.... i guess im going to put her in the 3 gal smartpot instead of the 1 gal smartpot unless someone thinks the 1gal would be better since you can feed her more... im looking at getting an autopot system here in the next week or 2 max but plan to hand water until then. can anyone reccomend where to buy a autopot setup? i seen them on their site for $120 i think for the 4 pot system with the smaller pots which are like 2.2 gallons i believe

the i think shes ready to be transplanted tomorrow after she dries out another day, i messed up and watered 50 mls yesterday cuz i forgot that its supposed to be kinda dry to make transplanting easier...

hey dude the pot size should be fine (3 gal) I got my auto pot system from flea bay and I never test my run off don't know why just neverwhen you put your coco in its pot let it dry out a bit then water in 1/4 strength base nutes and do you have anything for roots @A-Train s the man with the advanced knowledge

ok so i will save the 1 gal pots for space filler plants and experiments... i only tested everything because its my first time with coco and figured it would be a good reference point to start the grow log along with not knowing if i had to adjust my substrates PH or wash it to get the PPM's down(im not sure if u want the closest to 0 ppm possible or what) i have AN Voodoo juice, Piranha and tarantula for my root expanders. they reccomend 2ml/l as a ratio. i have put 2ml uncut piranha into the root riot cube when i placed the seed in as AN recommends.... and when you say 1/4 strength it gives varying ratios for my grow A&B something like 1ml/l for seedlings and cuttings 2ml/l for plants with 3-4 sets of leaves and 4 ml/l for a mature plant pretty much... so would i do 1/4 of the 1ml/l, 2ml/lor the 4ml/l?
im assuming the 1ml/l but dont want to underfeed which i did in my first soil grow that is still ongoing...

yea man when i first seen and smoked Bubba Kush i said if i ever grow again this will be the strain i grow... and well lookie what happened haha im glad im gonna have a first run with autos before i started one of my bubbas so i could get the best out of her... Blue cheese is well, just great.... i love the creamy/milkiness of the exhale and have heard they are nice yield wise... and dinafem really stood out to me for quality genetics so i think im going to have to agree with you on all your above statements!
