Breeding F5?

Yes, Blueberry is known for carrying the trait. With anything Blueberry in the lineage, eyes open for nanners and keep the stressors to a minimum. It's not terribly uncommon to see.

CS plants are fine for edibles... CS orally is WAY different than burning and inhaling.
Good point on difference between oral and inhaling, which could be important. Whether or not it is actually important seems uncertain to me though. I have been unable to find data on either the concentrations of silver in bud from unsprayed portions of reversed plants, or the concentration of silver in vapor or smoke from such bud, or the typical dose of silver that would result from smoking or vaping it, or on confirmed danage from same. If you can point me to any of this data, I would be keen to see it.
OTOH, I have enough weed in the closet, so I will not use bud from reversed plants.

I haven't heard of any studies related to colloidal silver and inhalation.
Personally, I don't self plants,I reverse a plant, collect the pollen, and toss the plant.
Given that CS would fall into the woo woo category of medicine, I'd be suprised if there were any tests or studies to be had

Since we you are in the topic, let me aks this, just to make sure i'm following you all right: reversing a plant from which a I had previously taken a clone, then polinating this clone with the pollen from said reversed plant... this counts as "selfing", right?

Yep, clones aren't copies, they ARE the original plant. Only difference is they're no longer still attached to the mother plant! With photos, just remember, reversing a cut of gg#4 and crossing it to another cut of gg#4 does not give you gg#4 seeds they're only GG, the # on a strain is for "cut only" grows, once seeds are involved, we're back to sisters, some pretty, some not so much, and it's back to pheno hunting again. Hopefully as the work continues, the desired traits appear more frequently.

Woo Woo is right, glad to meet someone on the same page re. the health benefits of this stuff. The Mayo Clinic website has some interesting comments on this topic.

There are lots of academic studies on CS and on general silver toxicity, but I can't find anything specific on vaping or smoking bud from reversed plants, or on the distribution and concentration of silver in unsprayed portions of CS reversed plants. My suspicion is that inhalation risks are low, but the issue is academic to me. As you do, I reverse an entire plant, one deliberately kept small, collect some pollen, and then dispose of the plant. The quicker I get my pollen and get rid of the plant, the better in my books. Less pollen circulating in the house is good.

Happy growing, and stay safe @Arthur.

So if I keep a male blueberry f5 plant and use its pollen on the female f5 blueberry plant (since there regular seeds) What would these seeds be classified as? F1 OR F5 or F6? I guess I'm still confused on this. Will they all come out good stable seeds like the f5 parents? I know they wont be feminized, they will be regular photo seeds. But I'm confused on what they will be classified as if I use the male from the same lineage to create seeds with the female. Thanks again anyone who can answer this :)

Why I ask is because I want to keep this strain stable. I dont want it going back to a f1 and being unstable. I'd rather keep a mother to clone from if that's the case

Oh, i'd love to confirm this as well. i understood they would be F6 if the f5 male and f5 female are both from the same same seed producing plant, no?

That's what I thought cuz these berry seeds are f5 and the package they came in says both blueberry parents were f4. And it said that dj short been using the same lineage since 1998. So I'm guessing two f5s wud make a f6 since the two f5s made these f5

See heres the pic of the card I got with em. I wonder why he stopped crossing there? I wonder if theres a reason he didnt make f6 blueberry seeds. Hmmm. I have flo seeds regular too. I cud collect pollen off both. And use the blueberry pollen on flo plants and make a few f6 blueberry seeds to see what they do as well. And then take some pollen from a male flo and use it on the blueberry and itself to see what happens. I read they are good to cross together which is why I got the 4x4 pack (4 blueberry and 4 flo) instead of the 13 pack of just blueberry.
