you transfer those outta the ‘bag-pots’ ? What size (for you ofc) why?

The plants stay in their pouches. These are only for seeds and I don't need hundreds of them, that's why I leave them small.

you cut them off if u do transfer ? Or just let the roodt do and they will fill that space and grow into any transport (planning on OF/HF mix) ?

As I plant all my seedlings in these pouches I do transfer some of them into a bigger pot. And while it's not necessary to remove the pouch as the roots will grow through them, I do remove the pouch, but the reasoning behind this lies further in the future. I plan to reuse the soil in the pots and don't know what the pouches are made out of and if the compost or not.

I also have an update from within the greenhouse as temperatures have finally dropped to an acceptable level. All the plants have survived the hot weather, but it took several flash visits inside 'the oven' to water everything
Even had to fill the tray two times

Quick like, ill share some of my inner crazy.. that prompted my ?s

I have a batch of those pouches in varying sizes.
my grandiose wish ‘in my headsville of thoughts’ was to grow out all 12 cultivars that i have…in a super pheno-hunt inspired: “variety quest” of sorts…somewhat like what senior @hope2grow is about to harvest…<Hope2 been flexing them home growmie perpetual skills.
I will probably just do a run of 6 beans in 1 gal fabrics… or in the largest pouch i have…

I have a good month or so before i can harvest my current grow.. so plenty of time to plan.

This thread has given my sails a good amount of wind.

I have some poblanos in varying 32 oz (Insert food chain) and some in 16oz solo cups..so i am getting some actual exp with them (grow pouches) thankfully. They are a different beast, but the canna skill set is serving to be translatable.

Glad to hear these rants of mine are somewhat useful for my fellow growers.
Yup, those pouches are really fine and just strong enough to keep everything together. But if you use a sharp knife at an angle you can cut the fabric like it's paper and removal is a cinch, which is what I prefer, but you don't need to do that. I can show you pictures from the roots visiting neighboring pouches so...

I've also got an update for ya'll. The seed mothers are gently taking their time to create me some seeds...

I'm not sure about this one though. Might have to reapply pollen just to make sure I "hit that thang"

So it's a hit and mis... I suggest to at least pollinate in two steps with a certain periode between it.
Maybe @Sawney_bean can chime in on that? Is it normal to have to reapply pollen a second time or does that just mean it's bad genetics and we shouldn't continue with that cultivar?

I always pollinate over 2/3 days . You will see the hairs turn orange when the calex is fertilized .
it only takes a day or two for this to show , so by the third day you're buds should look slightly swollen and orange.

I keep on pollinating until I see the buds are pregnant . Normally 3 days of doing this. It's so I get the max amount of seeds.

So this morning I reapplied the pollen and even pollinated a couple other ladies in waiting as they were showing pistils. All the pollen has been spent so it's all in the hands of my ladies now
I can already see seeds forming on the plants I pollinated ten days ago...

Sitting in the same boat, twiddling my thumbs, waiting, waiting...... Figure near end of July mine should be mature enough..

Yeah, I'm also waiting until the end of the month before I cut them down, might even let the ones I pollinated on the 26th sit for a week or two longer. It's not that I need the space and all I have to do is water the tray the pouches are sitting in. So no hard work at all
