Day 19. Well, I've finally settled on a 150 watt HPS and 96x3 reflector LED. It's a tad bit cold in the grow closet so added heat and light should only help. I've put the T-5 back in for underneath light for now.
When I have the pot where it usually is there's more light underneath and no shadow block light. I only move it when I take pics from the front and not sides.
I got like 10 or 12 bucks each in shop light setups to add side lighting and I can tell a big difference. The cheap shop lights with reflectors and adding a splitter from Lowe's and putting in 2 cfl and it's like putting a spotlight on all that undergrowth. And cram that thing right up in there. Looks awesome brother.... enjoying watching
What soil are you using?
Folding down the top fabric on the Smart Pots helps. You'll need to pick her up latter when she get's some weight on. The root ball will take up the entire 3 gallon Smart Pot. The air pruning of the fabric is amazing. All my root balls were very large. I couldn't shake any soil off the root ball when I pealed off the Smart Pot after my grows. I throw the root ball and the cut off main stem into the back yard woods. I banged the root ball against an oak tree a number of a times and it the soil didn't budge. One solid root ball.
