Nutes started late and she was under-fertilized.. The pots were light each time I watered, and I have given her 100-250ml each time.

Yes, I expected more foliage/branching by 5 weeks.

This is my second MCOB grow. I had them too close/bright with the+ LSD plant, so I have raised it up to about 35 inches.

She has been at 24/0 for a bit- I will reintroduce a dark cycle and see what happens.

She already seems a bit better after reintroducing the dark period. Maybe she needed regular rest?

On the chance that this one won't get very big, I am toying with the idea of starting another BC seed (another pot), feeding earlier, and sticking with 20/4.
But
I will have TKR surgery in just over a week and I will have to rely on my wife and kids to take care of them...
So
It might be better to just grow this one out and start fresh once I have recovered, perhaps with a CBD rich strain.

I am a couple of jars ahead at the moment, so I am supplied for this and another grow cycle...

The new growth is much healthier since I went back to 20/4.

So, at least for this strain and under this light, 24/0 is not a good idea.

See has a nice aroma- even thought she is small and just beginning to flower, I smell her as soon as I open the tent. I probably wont get much from this plant after my mistakes, but I think the quality will be pretty good. Next grow I will make sure to fert earlier and keep the lights at 20/4.

do you have many spare seeds ? showing my ignorance sorry, what is tkr how long will you be off your feet for ? a seedling dont take much looking after first 2 weeks, worth a try just to keep the cycle going.
good luck and quick recovery.

Thanks for the wishes, Archie. TKR= Total Knee Replacement

I have a sedentary job so will be off for 4 weeks, but will be walking little by little during that time. Gotta stay off my knees and can't crouch for much longer tho.

I have 2 more Blue Cheese seeds and lots of other strains seeds waiting in the wings.

As it turns out, Blue Cheese does not have 5% CBD,as has been advertised, but Mark is kindly sending me some Haze Auto CBD in replacement, so I might grow those next ...but at the same time I want to master this strain plus get a good jarful.

Thanks Mark

This will be the last update for a while, hopefully not too long.
...one good thing about a hospital stay is it forces a cannabis holiday.

She is happier with less light and more nutrients.

Unfortunately no branching, that's on me, but now I know about light toxicity. She showed pre-flowers late last week, and now Apr 18 she is blooming. She smells wonderful! Even being the small plant she is, I will have to have filters on 24/7. I hope she stretches well so I can get a bit of bud.

Nutes yesterday are half Grow and half Bloom, some molasses, and a teeny taste of Liquid Koolbloom.

I'll leave her in my wife's care for the next while.

Home from hospital a couple of days and now I can make my way to the computer.

My wife fed her Friday- actually looks like she flooded, there are pools of liquid all over the tent. Cant complain, she is doing a lot for me of late.

I asked one of the kids to put the tent zippers where I can reach them, so I got a peek today. Unfortunately, all I get is an aerial view from the walker, but she is green and happy looking, from above anyways.

I am worried about mold- I will ask one of the family members to wipe the tent floor dry and inspect the plant.

On another note, I really don't like hydromorphone, but it is a powerful pain killer. Weed is so much nicer to me and in so many ways.

welcome back :bighug:i sometimes throw water at my plants instead of pouring, dont think you in danger of mold unless real high humidity poor ventilation and late in flower,a lil splash never hurt.but ofcourse good housekeeping and all that.
good luck.
