I have a question regarding Biotabs....

Say I wanted to do a Scrog or a long veg on a photoperiod plant, how would I go about feeding it? Would I just add more tabs when they look hungry and continue with the Boom Boom spray?

I personally would use Startrex, Silicum Flash and Mycotrex only in the soil mix until final pot up mate. Then add the Biotabs to the soil mix going into the final pot.

The reason i would do it like that is because that’s how Sir Biotabs himself told me to do it! [emoji23]

If you wanted to do an extra long veg then I think Jay is spot on [emoji3]

I am just about to start the rest of my Blues and DiscoBiscuit beans using Biotabs and Autopots. They’re reg beans so will need a bit longer veg so they can be sexed. I’m hoping for 5 weeks though, in which case I think I will add the Biotabs to the final pot when potting up at 4 weeks or so, along with the Bactrex and Orgatrex soak.

Quick update for my Biotabs Gorilla girls.

3 x ShortStuff Gorilla OG

1 x Top Shelf Elite Gorillagasm

Somewhere around 6 weeks old. Approx [emoji23]

One of the GOG is looking spot on except for a little mag shortage. I love her structure and symmetry and the way she’s putting out buds.

The other two GOGs look ok but I’m suffering some sort of mag def more so on these two. I think there’s someone hiding in my flat and sucking the mag out of the coco as I sleep! [emoji23]

Not too worried as it’s improving slowly and the plants are still developing well. Getting bushy and one of the pair is into flowering now.

The Gorillagasm is a weird old thing and certainly taking her time. Not really even in preflower yet although she does have loads of pistils. She’s been tied out and down. Lots of new shoots looking lovely but slow to grow. Also a bit of fookin mag def!! Lol

Anyway, some pics.

So is my tap water screwed at the moment for some reason?

Or is there too much K in the coco mix, locking out mag? I did add PK booster tee to the coco. I think. Man I’m such a bloody stoner. Need to start keeping a diary (paper) again.

I thought the PK wasn't supposed to be used until the 3rd week of flower at least. Could be a flush is needed.

may i ask what leads you to think its mag def i take it your going of the light color on the fans and tops now correct me if im wrong because im sure its much easyier to tell in person but they look hungry to me instead of mag def so for my education what am i missing or mistaking ?

Purple petioles dude. The leaf stems.

And yeah they do look hungry mate. Kinda. The new growth is yellow on most. Kind of half the plant is yellow on the Gasm!
