Last one is the one I replanted in each corner.

Mid week check in. Still only water straight from tap with mosquito bits.

3 week mark
They are doin OK but not as big as I'd hoped for 3 weeks. Topped the S1's and Big Tickets at 5th node.

The F1's are growing but real small. Not ready for topping yet.

Will be filling the res and turning it on this weekend. Color is good on all of them, no sign of deficiencies or toxicity.

Filled the res with tap water, no pH'ing and culled the F1's down to 2 per pot this morning. Top watered them again as I'm not sure the tap root is far enough down to get moisture yet.....
Ordered more seeds so will have next years line up in hand before the first of the year. Plan on 2 strains per grow and to trying a round robin replacement where the next grows plants are already going in the pots about a month ( during top water phase ) and just get dropped in trays when the previous batch is finished.. hopfully leading to a harvest about every 2 months.

Off the shelf Osmocote is looking to be a good alternative to some of our more exotic nutrient concoctions, especially for those wanting simplicity or new growers just wanting to get a grow or two under their belts. Of course flowering is usually the REAL test of a nutrient regimin but that shouldn't be too far off with these girls. Since new growers are starting out with with fresh supplies I think next test should be with a fresh bag of Happy Frog to test for nutrient overload and how good the "no burn pledge" is with new soil. Will be starting a new batch of the GT's around the first of the year ( when these have about a month left ) in solo's to test that out.

At the 1 month mark
Still growing good for the most part. F1s are all showing runty characteristics so far.

And one of the S1s is a bit small.

Still no other nutrients than initial Osmocote and still plain old tap (well) water with no pH testing done.
