Hi all,

I am looking for a rough guideline. I currently use a 60x60x120cm tent and grow 3 autos in 2 gallon smart pots and most plants finish around 40 - 50 cm from the soil.

I want to upgrade to air pots in an attempt to slightly increase yield but don't want the plants to get too high as the carbon filter and lights take up the top 30cm of the tent when fully raised leaving me with 85cm of height from the floor of the tent maximum.

I am not into Lst or scrog but have been trying to find out which air pots I should choose out of the 6 litre (smaller than my current smart pots) or 10 litre (23cm diameter).

does anyone have experience with them and autos who can recommend a good size considering my height restrictions.

I understand strain, lighting etc can affect the height as well but just after some clarity on best air pot sizes for my set up.

my lighting is:

auto veg phase: 4 x 45w 6500k cfl (3000 lumens each)

Auto flower phase I switch to: 2 x 45w 2700k and 2 x 45w 6500k (hanging in the centre in a 4 x photography bulb holder)

And 4 x 30w 2700k cfl positioned as side lights around all 4 sides of the tent.

Again any adivce on air pot size as I haven't used them before.

Seems to me that the smart pot and air pot do pretty much the same thing ... I wouldn't change but if you do I'd go w/ the 10L ...

Thanks for your advice. I was looking at the air pots as they have more height than the smart pots and I read that helps.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have gone with the 6 litre or #3 airpot. Can't wait to try them out on the next go. I am picking shorter strains to help as well and reading up on scrog/lst for the future but would prefer to avoid adding further complications :)
