Time for another run...

SETUP:

Mars Hydro 4x4 tent
RAM 4" Extractor with Carbon Filter
Inkbird Temperature Controller
Inkbird Humidity Controller
2 x Temperature Controllers attached to 2x 50W Aquarium Heaters for the Reservoirs
RAM Humidifier
1500 Watt Oil Radiator
1 x BOYU Low Noise Air Pump SES-30 - 1800L/HR connected to 2 x 4" airstones in each pot (so 900 litres per hour into each pot).
2 x Luminus CXM22 4th Generation 3500K COBs running off an HLG-150H-54B Dimmable Driver - 2 more COBs to be added when the ladies are large enough, and the driver swapped to an HLG-320H-54B
2 separate RDWC systems with 1 'pot' and 1 reservoir each. The Pots have a temperature sensor each and the reservoirs contain 1 50W aquarium heater each along with an Aquarium Pump.
The 'Pots' are 45 Litre Totes, and the reservoirs are parts from my old RDWC system.
Total volume for each system is 38 Litres, dropping to 35 Litres once roots hit the water.

GERMINATION:

Root!t sponges with Root!t Rooting Gel and Great White beneficial Bacteria/Fungus

Seedstockers BCN Critical XXL
One of our heaviest yielding auto varieties, BCN Critical Autoflower is also a powerful smoke with THC levels of 22%+. These legendary genetics are reliable and consistently heavy producers of strong cannabis, its a proven auto that you can trust to deliver. Indoors this variety takes around 75 days from seed to harvest and does well with 20 or 24 hours of daily light. The buds are bigger than usual with a sticky frosty coating and an aromatic smell, with hints of citrus. Very easy and uncomplicated to grow, with heavy harvests and an unbeatable smoke.

Dinafem Critical + 2.0
Critical + 2.0 Autoflowering turns into rather thick Indica-dominant marijuana plants with a thin stem and short/medium internodal spacing. Her mid-sized Indica/Sativa leaves cover the entire body of this particularly vigorous plant whose sole weak point is the resistance to moisture, which is fortunately made up for by her fast flowering that minimises every risk of being hit by fungi.

Seeds were dropped on 4/20.

NUTRIENTS:

Megacrop 2.0
Sweet Candy
Cal Mag Pro
Epsom Salts
Bud Explosion during Flower

In order to reduce the risk of root rot, and to help with root growth, I will be keeping the water temperature between 22C and 23C, and adding a Tea solution loaded with beneficials.
This will be added at 500ml on each res change, and 200ml every 2 days.
The tea is made with Worm Castings, Great White and RootGrow Hydro.

DAY 3

Both ladies popped out of the sponges within a few hours of each other and were kept in the propagator for 3 days before being put into their permanent homes.

Bravo! Subbed.

Looking good :pop:

DAY 8 UPDATE
No issues so far (for a change).
Both ladies growing well and no signs of any nutrient issues.
The Aquarium heaters in the reservoirs are doing their jobs perfectly, maintaining a nice steady temp for the water.
The Heisenberg tea also seems to be doing it's job with no sign of any nasty shizz in the water :doc:

Roots are out of the Netpots for both girls, so we should get some nice growth spurts shortly.

BCN CRITICAL XXL

The Ugly Duckling turned into a Swan. That was quick...

CRITICAL+ 2.0

Now seems to be the smaller of the 2 after her faster start. Still very early doors though.

DAY 18 UPDATE

Seedstockers BCN Critical XXL:
Was topped at day 16 (after 4th node) and has recovered nicely.
Slight tuck of leaf curl which I think is wind-related rather than light, so I have raised the fan to reduce the wind effect.
A few pale spots, but feed was increased today, so let's see how that goes.
Currently running at 490ppm (180ppm tap water, so 310ppm from feed - 0.62EC) and a pH of 6.0.

Dinafem Critical +2.0

Also a touch pale, but her feed was increased today to the same level as the BCN.
May need a touch more CalMag as she was showing a few spots, but the feed increase may cover that. Will keep an eye on it.
Topped today at (after) the 4th node.

Environment is sitting steady at approximately 26C Air temp and 70% Humidity.
BCN Critical water temp is approx 23C, and the Critical +2 is approx 23.3C as can be seen in the 2 control units (apologies about the vapour from the humidifier)

Yes.
Temperature sensor is in the totes with the plant.
Each tote connects to its own reservoir and they each contain a 50W Aquarium heater controlled by those controllers.
