Yes, smoking green bud often gives an odd taste. If you've got a vape warm it up, grind some up and throw it in. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, stirring it up every few minutes. It will dry out nicely and actually tastes pretty good.

Today is day 76 for the girls. They are looking quite nice this morning.

I am starting to have more of the largest fan leaves to turn yellow. They are not getting the spots that a few of the mite infested areas had, just simply turning yellow. I guess this is a good sign that the girls are entering the last stage of their life cycle, correct?

Although I am having some yellowing, I'd say they plants are still over 95% vibrant green.....

Yep, sounds like they are starting to finish up. I'd give them another week, then start with plain pHed water for the last two weeks.

Sweet! So maybe give them another feeding or two this week? And for the flushing, can you go into detail on this? Is it as simple as just using plain water instead of feeding? Do you do it everyday? Thanks for all the help Muddy, I cant let you know how much I appreciate it.

Can they still put on much more mass in this last little bit, or is the growth pretty much finished?

Last night I got the materials for the inside walls of the new Grow Lab. I think that I am going to hang them when I get off work today.

On a side note..

The main cola of the little goat cheese is screaming at me. Every time I walk in the room it says Chop Me Motha' Fucka'. It is so crystally and beautiful.

Can I make dry ice hash from it?

I've been sooooo tempted to cut a bud off mine and flash drying in maybe the microwave but held back, could do with a smoke, but gonna go out and eat steak and maybe sink a couple of beers instead.

Yes, one or two more feedings then only plain water after that. Just stay on your normal schedule, watering when the pots are light, 10% run off as usual.

I know it's tempting but I wouldn't chop anything yet. As they eat off the stored energy in the fan leaves the buds will continue to fatten up. Take that cola now and you'll lose out on a fair bit of yield. Yes, you can make hash from it but personally, I'd rather smoke that and use the leaves, trimmings and popcorn to make hash with.

I decided to Chop the main cola from the Little Goat Cheese. I could not believe how dense it was. I am glad that I did, as I did not realize how much light it was blocking from the rest of the others.

Now for the funny part, and the part that shows just how much of a newb I really am.

First off, I did not think about wearing gloves. My hands were COVERED in resin. I decided to chop it up and try my hand at hash making. Well all I had was some super fine silkscreen. I frozen the bud for about four hours and the added the dry ice. I shook it like made and worked the mixture over the silkscreen. Well I did get a good light dusting over the glass, but it was so fine (such small particles). When I tried to scrape it up with a razor it just speared. So, I put all the bud and dry ice in a mason jar (lightly capped to allow pressure to release). I shook the jar and rubbed the outside to create condensation. Over time trics started to build up on the sides of the jar, to the point I could not see through it. so I dumped out all the "bud" and proceeded to rub the goodness off the side of the jar. I used my fingers for this, creating a large ball of what I only know how to describe as "wax". Bright yellow in color. I saved the bud as there is still tons of trics left in it. I need to invest in some micron bags...........

I wish yall could have seen the mess I made, and could have smelled my room. Now I can say I made "hash"..... I think.


It burns very good and has a very good flavor to it. BUT.... it has no stone effect to it whatsoever. It is 100% head high..

I guess this shows me it has a while longer to go.
