This morning my excitement has turned to panic.

I have spider mites. They are tiny little yellow fuckers. Not all leaves have them, but a lot do. So now what....

Do I chop them down and start over?

I am so disappointed.

Go to your hydro store buy some neem oil and go to work my friend.

sorry to hear that bastards are there! fight back! neem oil and or azmax . whats bad is how late in the grow they showed up it usually takes three to four alternating doses every four to five days. i dont think you have a choice................you may be able to salvage most of the bud:cry: if you use neem oil after you go through the cycle spray them with plain water to rinse, asamax and pyrethrins are organic pest control so it dissipates after 2 or 3 days.
good luck bro!

Whoo, slow down. Get some organic bug spray like garden safe made by shultz.Any garden store or walmart home depot will carry it.

What is the absolute best choice? I do not care about price, I just want something that will kill em' and not ruin my crop.

I have heard alot about AzaMax, is this a good option?

~Bandit :(

there are dozens of different ways people get rid of mites, your lucky they are not the red ones, i used alternating azamx and neem oil. both will kill the adults right away, the reapplication is to get the next hatch, because you never get them all the first time. your gonna get a lot of different advice on this , but you dont want to slow down, do it today! you gotta save those beautiful colas! mites build up a tolerance to any thing you use thats why you alternate two different ways:peace:

OK. Well, I will swing by the grow shop today and get some Spray. I think that I am going to rub the undersides of the fan leaves with rubbing alcohol and use a pyrethrin spray, then come back with neem oil.

I have five leaves on the purple cheese that look terrible today. They are yellow and spotted. Stupid Mites.

What do yall think about the quality of my harvest now that this has happened?

i think you can save the buds do not use alcohol!! it destroys thc ! any good organic pesticide will work, azamax is one that has a good track record!
any pyrethrin will work and organic remedys dissapate after a couple of days!

Worst case you may loose a little bit of the buds that are heavily infested. Get them right away and retreat in 3-4 days for the ones that hatch out. I battle them outdoors all the time and it's gotten to the point that I'm about done with outdoor growing because of them and the caterpillars. Insecticidal soap also works very good. It's a contact killer and like just about everything else, doesn't kill the eggs, so must also be reapplied.

Don't discard any infested buds. You can water cure them and then use them to make some oil. In the future I'd strongly recommend you don't put your plants outdoors like you've been doing. IMO, you're just inviting trouble.

It is very important to alternate sprays as the mites will begin to develop a immunity to the sprays azamax and liquid ladybug worked well for me
