Am I correct in saying that you said this also helps with insects larvae and I can see the benefits of equal water dispensing.
This I think will be in all my pots for here on out also it looks great thanks again

Hey dude looks real nice I hope I advise you to wash those Pebbles real good. Because they can cause your Coco to go alkaline on you. At least I think it's alkalinity that they cause.

So yeah bug larvae definitely this works as well puts a barrier down specially if you can get a couple inches in there. They won't be able to get through the dry, most of the time, peddles. Some of the worst pests we deal with have a larvae stage down there in the soil or the cocoa I think even thrips have a stage down there. Since I started doing this I haven't had any kind of fliers you know the persistent fliers where they're actually nesting down in your stuff.

Actually, between using Pebbles on top of my Coco and running SM 90 in every nutrient mix I really don't have any pest problems at all.

Yeah I washed them 3 times and holy cow alot of dust comes off dosent it. I got around 2-3 inches of pebbles in each pot thanks again for this can u keep reusing them or do you buy new ones each time

I've been using the same pebbles for years I even used them in deep water culture before this you might want to sterilize them if you think you've got any kind of disease along the way but I actually stopped doing that in Coco without problems.

Aw great I'll just reuse them and I'll sterilise them with boiling water each time I need to use them again.

3 times rinse should be enough not to cause and ph issue in the coco right

Did you put em in the bottom of the pot too or just the top. Looks neat

I think the LED was too close and the bushier she got, the more I stressed her out by poking and prodding with lst etc. I learned loads tho so all good
Yeah alot of people make the mistake of having the led to close in veg I would have been the same but @tripaholic88 advise me on led light heights around 3 ft away in veg is good
