Personally in Cocoa I like the extra stretch. I use that to put a few clay pebbles in their washed really really well. A couple inches is best but anything over an inch helps. What that does is it keeps little bugs like root aphids from getting down there and starting to grow and it allows the nutrients and feed to Cascade over those Pebbles and adds more oxygen.

Oh yeah it keeps your Coco from drying out on top every time it dries out on top you'll get a little salt build-up and you'll see that in a little white pieces on those Coco fibers. Over time that can actually throw off your pH in your feed a little bit as it passes by. That salt problem usually shows up and one or two leaves close together looking funky and turning yellow.

Yeah good to see you here Pete you know me every run had a blue cheese or two lol I'm really looking forward to this one after there kushncheese I have big hopes for this and after seeing @sanguine one in dwc oh boy
