Indoor Badfinger's Grow Room

I have 3 of the same light, 2 with the wifi timer. Really good value, they are $49 each now.

With your array, you may find it necessary to dim the middle 2 more than the corners to not get a very hot center in your light pattern.

This is my 4th grow with these lights. And yes, I do run the center light dimmed. I have 7 of them, I keep a spare just incase. You can now get the 600watt configuration (four 150 watt panels) for $280 on amazon. Its tempting.

Nothing to report. The girls are 1 week old.
I kind of expected them to be bigger at this point. Hopefully they will make better progress in the next week.

All the action is taking place beneath the soil. Prepare yourself to transplant the seedlings to their final pot in about a weeks time.

8-30-2022 week 2

Well my girls are stunted. I'm 99% sure its the soil. Espoma Moisture Mix potting soil. I think this soil just stays to wet and the plants cant get enough oxygen in the root zone. They show all the signs of over watered plants. I only misted the soil when they were in the cups once. Their color is not healthy and the cotyledon leaves turned yellow and died. The pots havent been watered for 2 weeks and its wet.
The nearest grow supply place is an hour away, they carry all the known cannabis soils. I had hoped I could find a soil that would do just as good in my town. But I guess it is not to be.
I seen this coming over the weekend and made the drive for a fresh batch of soil. (2 bags of FFHF). I plan on dropping new seeds Friday, so these girls basically have 72 hours to do a miracle.

9/3/2022 week 2 1/2 update

I gave them 72 hours to do something, looks like this grow is still on. Except one of my AK's is just not showing improvement, but since the other three are a go. She goes along for the ride as long as she wants.

9/6/2022 week 3

The sickly one didnt make it.
The remaining 3 ladies are looking healthy.
Gave them a very small amount of water this morning for the first time.
This soil's ability to hold moisture will be a learning experience in itself. I think once the girls are in full veg, it shouldn't as much of a concern.
If anyone was to use this soil, I would recommend using a seed starter soil first.
I have to say they are showing a steady growth, just since my last post 3 days ago.

Something I recommend to every new grower. Most soil mixes are to hot for seedlings, better to start them off in a smaller cup with some lightmix/sowing soil.
Those mixes have a more airy blend and little amount of feed, they are sifted and graded so the best size particles are used.
