New Grower Auto Ultimate - 600W LED / Soil - High Temp

Is there anyway you can install a window unit in your garage? If so then I would stick one in! This will take care of your temps and your humidity at the same time

I seriously might have to try this. I thought about adding some kind of AC unit but the garage is not insulated well so I think I will be using a ton of electricity trying to fight the heat from outside.

Used window units are cheaper than dirt and easy to clean. Not uncommon to cool garages either so it shouldn't come off as strange.
That was another one of my concerns, did not want it to draw unwanted attention because I rent. Do not want the landlord wondering why I need to cool the garage lol. But I could just remove the AC unit when inspection time comes around. The tent is very well hidden behind a makeshift facade of huge boxes lol.

Day 7 June 3

AU #2's growth rate is significantly slower than AU [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. AU [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] is showing droppy leaves as if it has not been watered. Soil is still damp from last watering. At this point I suspect this is being caused by the fungus Gnat larva in the soil. Noticing a lot more gnats flying around. I finally decided to attempt to combat the gnats. I hung 4 of the fly strips in the tent to catch the flyers and soaked about 1/8th of a mosquito dunk in a gallon of water to use tomorrow when I water. The bacteria in the mosquito dunk are supposed to kill the gnat larva in the soil. I should have got on top of the gnats sooner, but I did not think they would be that big of an issue.

Pics below are self explanatory lol. Notice the sever difference in plant 1 and plant 2 :bummer:

Day 8 June 4

AU #2's condition has worsened dramatically. Root damage from hungry larva was the cause, she could not take up any water the poor girl. I decided to try and revive her anyway. Applied mosquito dunk solution to both containers until 15% runoff. Also applied Neem oil to soil surface and foliar spray of neem oil on both plants. I used a pipe cleaner to try and keep her leaves off the soil. AU [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] is chugging along like a boss though and I am excited about that. Temps were at 91F during these pics. Notice the insane amount of fungus gnats that I caught on the strips in 24 hours. They literally took over the tent in a day. It was unbelievable.

Day 10 June 6

So I killed poor AU [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG], she barely had any taproot left when i pulled her out of soil. But the mosquito dunk, neem oil, and fly strips have worked wonders. Have not seen a gnat in 24 hours. I will apply the mosquito dunk solution for the next 3 weeks to fully disrupt the Fungus Gnat life cycle.

But I am very happy with my remaining plant. Her growth rate is out of this world. Literally seems larger every 6 hours. Holding down her fans to let light hit lower branches.

Day 11 June 7

The mosquito dunk solution splashed on one of my leaves and burned it a bit

Also noticing magnesium deficiency in another leaf so this girl is ready for some nom noms

Stem is shedding due to the fast paced growth rate

Day 12 June 8

Gave the girl her first feed today. 2ml Cal-Mag, 1ml Grow big, 1mL Big Bloom per gallon. pH was 6.4. Also began some LST, I know it is a bit early but why not lol.
