Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

I ended up topping before I found you guys. I would guess i topped on day 33. I think its stunted. I'm at day 61 today and it's kind of flowering but I think it still wants to stretch some more. I will veg nute today and probably change to bloom nutes next week. This is only my second grow but I kind of cant wait to start another one with the correct timing.

They're looking fine, two more weeks and they'll be fattening up. You will have gained direct knowledge now about what an auto does when topped at node 7 and that's always worth something. Sometimes we discover new stuff by making a "mistake", .

LOL! NO KIDDING!

Here's the Lemon Kix 24hrs after topping and dressing the wound. I used a little aloe vera then again an hour later a dab of Manuka honey.

The Chocolate Kush is on track, day 11 today and about to show the 3rd node, she'll also be getting topped. :smoking:

Now we're rockin fella  :vibes: :cooldance:

Day 24 for the topped Lemon Kix, topped on day 18 of life :eyebrows: and then LST'd, Day 24 :smoking:

hi guys, well done on the thread autobeast! lookin forward to smashing this at work later. im only on my second grow. this is my dutch passion a/u at day 93ish. View attachment 810294 still got a week or so to go. she was fimmed around day 15 and been tied down every other day of her life. just caught the first couple pages there and noticed autobeast saying he gets no problem with defol at any point. i get a lot of stick for advising people to defol all the way through the grow so im glad to find someone else who likes doing it. ive been taking a full shopping bag worth off this lady every week since day 40ish and a small amount during early veg. i gave her a bit of a lollipopping before bloom but it never really made any difference. everything i cut off just comes back twice as fast. its most annoying lol. anyway, off to catch up the rest of the thread now. be back soon : )

JESUS CHRIST

Day 33 and 26 for the girls after topping. :smoking:

Hello. First time moving indoors and using LED's. Using a TSL2000 and starting out with Jack Here Autoflower.
I'm wondering how to know how much intensity to use. Can I just turn it to full power or am I going to need to adjust the intensity?

@Theknifeman :welcome:Welcome to AFN:welcome:. I like to try to mimic mother nature on this one. In early spring the angle of the sun is low so it is weaker and as the season progresses it gets stronger and stronger. I do the same with my lights. I start at ~25% and ramp up so that when the plant is 14 or so days old we have reached the DLI of about 42.
