Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

OK this PG was topped normally but one branch went off to play with his friends, while the other one, just carried on as if she weren't topped at all. 35" is my tallest plant yet. So much for topping slows them down!

.i said thats fine for u to do so.but I will be sharing my customer service experience .as Im a well known and respected grower on the net. And that changed things .

Ha, good for you Autobeast, a man after my own heart.

Afternoon Growers,
Here we are with the AutoBeastMethods inspired AutoDevil HQ.
After a successful hat trick of 2 Chemdawg and 1 Northern Lights from @Fast Buds Heather if it ain't broke don't fix it so I started working out a way to get a perpetual grow cycle on the go using 5 plants and keeping the time between harvests as close together as possible within a restricted grow space. Every cycle has a curveball too so 00 Seeds Chemdog is getting a ride out to compare against the FastBuds as I enjoyed it so much but was a little underwhelmed by the yield so wanting to see if that's a genetic thing as I know I'll enjoy what comes out and if it doesn't measure up to FastBuds which will take some doing I'll affirm my choice to stick with FastBuds.

Because the Northern Lights below grew so enormous I had to skip one of the Germination in the cycle to make way for her so planted 2 at the same time as a result. Shoutout FastBuds France, Germany and Spain for reposting this image.

So here we have a full Autoflower tent with a Chemdawg in Week 9 since Germination that's chunking up impressively fatter than her 2 sisters on a diet of Monkey Nutrients instead of the Advanced nutrients PH perfect range which I cannot recommend enough but as a first time grower research into alternatives was always inevitable.
Without the light Stealing Northern to compete with as the biggest in the tent she is thriving. It looks like she will live longer than them both too which is never a bad thing

Next up is Strawberry Pie approaching end of Week 6 and flowering up nicely. She smells so sweet and delicious I can already tell this one's going to tick all my terpene boxes. Despite competing with the extremely dank Chemdawg which is so potent a walk down the hallway tickles the nostrils it still dominates inside the tent.

Behind these is the double timed plant of another Strawberry Pie Auto and a Tangie Auto both approaching end of Week 4. These were Germinated the same day and also topped the same day which is a true representation of solid and reliable genetics in my eyes. 18 and 27 are my numerological anchors so I love that they play a part in my cultivation cycle.

Bringing up the rear is the 00 Seeds Chemdog approaching the end of her first week above ground. Kicked out a huge taproot within fantastic time and did curl round a bit but has made a happy start to life.

Once again all the gratitude on this Earth goes to @autobeast for showing me the true power of Autoflower Genetics. The proof is in the pudding.

That Nrth Lights really is a very special lady :toke:

After two years of topping I have done my first 5th node top. This is my strangely lime green Blackberry Kush, which I decided I would allow to grow normally, and I really thought that is what was going to happen. But circumstances and thinking changed. The leaves are very broad and tough and I invariably have to cut some leaves off, but this time I have been able to tuck the leaves in and I got the lower branches to escape and in the end I have managed to get all the branched to the surface without removing anything leaves. Topping at the fifth node gave me a bit more space between the internodes which get very close together in hydro.

Take this Dutch Passion grow of their Blackberry Kush Auto. How in the name of sweet baby jesus are they able to do this. It appears to be growing with hardly any leaves to clear away, and the lower branches all make their way out. It seems to be that there's something about hydro that makes everything very compact.

Do you guys start counting days at seed emergence, or at first sign of true leaves? Just want to make sure and nail the 15-20 day mark. I read quite a bit and didn’t see the answer.
Also do you guys count they very bottom branch (not the cotyledons) as part of the 4 nodes.
Thanks a ton. Great job by all pushing the auto limits.
cheers
os
