Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

Happy growing every1;)

I grew the auto northern lights and it flowered insanely fast however, the density was off the charts and its amazing for sleep. I'm going to be poppin another one to see if it doesn't flower soo early again.

Can't wait to see the result of yours!

Thanks mate .il grow them.first for u to see.will see what truly beholds.there can be lots of reasons for airy buds.mainly down to,grow room and growing conditons environment.and no plant is the same not even from the same pack!! Each will be there own.and I really like ur attitude.pop another to see the results.best way.top.work to u.thats how I can u this now.iv grown a five pack of autos.all.were small.and average.so did what u did.second chance.totally massive results.never be put off by a strain if its small.grow it again.also do ur reseach cannabis plants, seeds, clones .may look alike but will.never be the exact same.cause they have there own individual dna.just like us;)happy growing every1;)

Medium/grow method: I’m in a FFOF/Perlite mix, but plugged the seeds into jiffy starter in the middle of 3 gallon pot.

Feed: and supplements used: Just started on FF Grow Big this week; plan to use FF Tiger Bloom when needed

water source: PH’d tap

Strain/age: ILGM Northern Lights Auto

light used: HLG 260xl - about 24 inches at 210 Watts

Climate: Indoor tent. Temps upper 70s; RH: low 60s; upper 50s

I have a question that's probably been answered numerous times throughout this thread (and hopefully I'll be forgiven for not searching first, but I'm feeling like I gotta make a decision in the coming hours/days). I have a NL Auto that's at about 25 days from sprout. It's growing great -- green, bushy, indica-y, etc. I've done some leaf tucking/removing/ponytailing, but otherwise I'm kind of just letting her go. I'm growing 1 other plant next to her (blueberrry auto). With the blueberry I've done a fair amount of pulling, tying, bending LST (but no HST). She's been a good bit slower to develop, but looks like she'll be a decent squatty little plant. Which is fine, but I feel like the NL is going to be a lot taller than the blueberry, so I was thinking about topping or fimming the NL to slow her vertical growth a bit. I think she's getting ready to show sex, but definitely still in veg.

What's the general consensus about when it's too late to top/fim an auto? I kind of wanted to see how she grew without any LST/HST at all.., but I think I picked the wrong plant to let live free. She looks awesome and so I don't want to take any chances (obviously I can deal with the height difference issue if I need to). So what do you all think? Do I still have time to top/fim her without creating major issues?

Thanks in advance. Looking forward to reading this thread before my next grow! I'm an auto newbie, so I'm glad I found this place!

I'd do it now. You can top after flower begins but the resaults can be unpredictable.

Nice thing about plants is you can always grow another. If she is not showing sex I would think you still have time. Call it an experiment. BTW I would get the tent up to 82° or so if possible. JMO..
