Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

Nice thing about plants is you can always grow another. If she is not showing sex I would think you still have time. Call it an experiment. BTW I would get the tent up to 82° or so if possible. JMO..
My tent is only 68 to 72 degrees day temps. . 65 at night. Weed plants can photosynthesize as low as 60 degrees Fahrenheit. As long as you dont dip below 60 your good. 70s are fine. I'd prefer 70s than 80s due to the fact it's easier to control the humidity in my set up. 82 or higher in flower can be a disaster unless your adding co2 your temps shouldn't be that high during flower.

I too keep my temp in the mid 70's. As temps rise above 75F so does the chances of pests. Took me two years to get rid of sipdermites, not doing that again!

I stay between 85 and 90. Lol

That's fine if you run CO2. Cannabis ideal growth happens between 70-78F . And the hotter it is, the harder to maintain reasonable humidity levels. High heat and low humidity really stresses the plants.
Under HPS I agree. Under LED I think it is different. IMO

I have heard of that same thing with the difference between temps from hps to led I run led and my plants like it a little warmer I have noticed I float around high 70s to low 80s but I definitely hear you with the pests I battled spider mites last year so over summer I said fuck it and just grew outdoors haven't seen a single pest this season yet thankgod

Good day growers.3 week birthday for my older diesels today. 21 days old.i.did top all these girls at day 18 of life , 3 days ago.here a pic;)

Aren't the leaf temps a fair bit higher with HPS than LED? That changes VPD a fair bit.

That depends on the light to canopy distance but generally speaking it is about 2-3° lower with LEDs in the same ambient temperature. Yes you can and should run your grow space a little warmer with LEDs.
