Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

@autobeast i seek your help again.
If I top my auto and don’t do any LST, will that make my girls grow narrower?
How much would they hurt my quality?
thanks in advance!
topping an auto will not make a narrow plant. once u top an auto it will bush out very wide even without lst. and topping an auto does not effect growth or yield in anyway. happy growing every1 ;)

@autobeast quick question. I think I am OK, but the Fastberry is already showing pistils at day 16/17 days. I have read this isn't that uncommon, but am I OK to snip her? I have been told to avoid stress close to flowering, and I have hermied a plant before which I think was a mix of poor genetics, and me stressing the plant with either light or a cracked stem. Thoughts?

As to the topping it is 5 days from our last check in and the girls are not quite ready to cut above the 4th node. Still a little bit cramped with the 5th node not quite grown out yet if that makes sense. I am thinking by tomorrow morning we should be good though.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

alot of growers see first pistils. and think flower is beginning. just showing she is a girl. plenty of veg growth to come and stretch before flower. all is good. so the choice is yours.a topping defo wont make any auto hermie. so no worries there. happy growing every1 ;)

TY sir!

I will be topping them tomorrow then!

I have done a little LST to get the main stock bent over but have given them a break these last 24hrs before topping.

How long after topping do you think I should get back to the LST? I thought to wait 24hrs at least 24hrs...

I have been trying to go slow but started the LST a little early I guess... Then again I wasn't sure I was even going to top em. Lol
