Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

Don't worry about stopping the nutrients many believe flushing is a myth and when I grew in soil I never flushed. If you harvest just before you leave 9 days is too long to dry in most environments suitable for drying I have never gone past 6 days with most in the 4 to 5 day range. If you get them too dry it ruins the cure!

I totally agree nine days would be to long, now another question is, I have some boveda packs, would they bring the bud back if they got to dry?

Yes to a certain extent; I have used them for that exact purpose. The bud was no where near as good as it could have been if I had not over dried it in the first place. It is so hot and dry here in the summer it is easy to over dry.

Yeh buddy what man O green said is right on the money,I wouldn't go past 6 days for drying,if you have someone to burp or water that's ideal for your decision, what I would do is when your say 6-7 days from going on your trip have a look at the plants with a jewelers loop if thay are milky harvest them,if all are clear and still standing up. You could possibly get away with leaving them until you get back, but most likely by that time thay will be very amber, the upside is that the buds will more than likely yeild a bit more, but thats also subject to strain etc.

Think I'll just wait and see, keep the nutrients and like I said maybe the dog watcher can bottle and burp

Now all amber, would it hurt the potency or the smoke?

flushing is defo no myth. if u use chemical feeds.its very important to flush ur plants clean of any build up of salts and feed.just plain water for last 14 days is fine. very important to do this as some of the chemicals in the feed can be harmfull to smoke. u might notice ur spliff crackles and pops and burns unevenly. means still some nasties in there. and u might also notice headaches also from the chemicals. for the best bud, flavour taste and potency. flush is a must. happy growing every1 ;)
