Auto topping thread, pushing the auto limits;)

Good day growers im a master photo and auto grower.but my passion is with autoflower seeds.i been on a mission for 5 years growing now trying diffrent methods of training on autos to see what they truly behold.truth is autos aint no diffrent to a normal plant other than they flower on there own.u can top lst supercrop and defol autos with monster results if done at the correct time.oviously every plant is diffrent so always use the seed info as a rough guide;) and a short plant can yield just as much as a tall plant;) in this thread i will show u all along the way of the true limits of autos and there true potential as i grow them for u all to see;).also if ur an auto grower who likes to push the limits,do speak up and all pics of ur autos and talk and all questions welcome on pushing the auto limits.here a few examples of the results achived topping an auto young followed by later lst.few heavy defols along the way ,gives u an army of dominant colas and a big heavy yield.and a beautiful plant.here is automazar topped and lstd;)

thanks alot growers much appreciated. happy growing;)

I’ve been trying to figure out where I’d best to top autos, seems like it’s a personal choice lol.
However this is my first timer ever growing a plant so I don’t know which node is best, I was leaning towards 5th node but I’m not sure. Suggestions?

for ur first time try the 3rd or 4th, node. u wont be disappointed. happy growing ;)

These guys tried to start flowering like 2 months before this pic, but because of topping very early and low stress training etc(also too little light and root space contributed for sure)i managed to make them stop the two females trying all the time.

From what i have noticed there is no clock ticking in autoflowers that tells them to flower, instead it starts to flower when it has developed to a certain point. Topping the plant seems to delay flowering and turn it back to veg until the side branches have developed enough to bud.

It could also be partly due to these being auto x photo hybrids from back in the days which while they did auto, they might not have as strong af genes as todays commercial autoflowers.

Sadly i couldnt flower the girls as they had thrips and i couldnt risk them getting in my new tent, so i just harvested the pollen from that one male and got rid of them. The skinny one that has other half cut out completely to delay flowering. Girls didnt show new preflowers at least in the past month or so.

Would be nice to test this method in a grow tent with proper lights, but i doubt ill do it this round.

Hi all just the thread i was looking for,i have topped autoflowers before with awsome results, but i was thinking of giving super cropping a go,would super cropping be more stressful on the plant than topping as you are basically bending, slightly breaking the branches at 4 or 6 at a time.?? Im thinking it would as your nearly breaking the stem to the point of snapping it...
