New Grower Auto Pounder - First Indoor Grow

GREAT NEWS- My new batch of seeds have arrived. So im super excited that they came early and I have not decided how to grow them just yet. I may do some side by side comparison grows and maybe a community grow where i can experiment with anyone that wants to tag along. Here is what will be coming up next -:yay:

3 x Dutch Passion FEM AUTO WHITE WIDOW
3 x Dutch Passion FEM AUTO BLACKBERRY
3 x Dinafem FEM AUTO SUPER SKUNK

UPDATE: DAY 15
Everything seems to be going ok. I watered today with 1/8 strength nutes (grow, micro, bloom, CalMGg, and great white). I used tap water with a ppm of 350 but i put water in a bucket with air pump/air stone for 24 hrs then added nutes, adjusted ph then added the great white. The plants seem to love it. (Ph after all nutrients added 6.3 and ppm 574) I also tried tucking for the first time and getting some of the big fan leaves out of the way... if anyone has had experience tucking or using ties/twine please guide me in the right direction. Also added an inline duct booster fan with carbon filter (4" Hydrofarm Active Air tallboy) to the grow area due to major smell starting to spread. Added some stick'ems for those pesky fungus gnats but I have only seen a few.

I was thinking about drilling holes all around the sides of my pots since i do not have air pots... is this a good idea? Anywho, everyone have a great day, stay stoned and grow happy! Peace and love! :toke:

Great minds think a like! Lol exactly what i was thinking for the gnat thing, just stick'em! Not sure what the diatomaceous earth is, can you elaborate? Thanks
Diatomaceous Earth (often referred to as "DE") is an off white talc-like powder that is the fossilized remains of marine phytoplankton. When sprinkled on a bug that has an exoskeleton (such as bed bugs, ants or fleas) it compromises their waxy coating so that their innards turn into teeny tiny bug jerky. But it doesn't hurt mammals. We can eat it. We do eat it! It's in lots of grain based foods because lots of grains are stored with diatomaceous earth to keep the bugs from eating the grain! Food grade ... eatup ..[emoji13]

Welcome bro glad you could come along for the ride, although it may be bumpy, just sit back, buckle up and..."cough, pass".

Love tons of information! I cant tell you how appreciative I am from the fellow people on AFN. Much support!

Yea the gnats :nono: - not too many, yet, just more of a nuisance right now. From what i read as they populate they will lay eggs in soil and the cycle continues. I did read up on some info about sticky pads which i got. Also attached is some info from University's i found on google. I dont think i will be putting any chemicals in but i did see the Neem oil which may work, just needs to be treated often. If it becomes an infestation i will take action until then the sticky pads should catch the stragglers. Unless some other experienced growers say other wise lol.

Awesome, that's exactly what I am looking for, thanks TEK! So really it might be useful as a thin top layer on the soil for preventative or infestation. For now I will continue watching for pest and if need be I will pick up DE and Neem oil...these 2 seem like they would take care of the issues if any arise... Concluded! :shooty:

Hey mate looking forward to how the auto pounders turn out. I really like auto seeds used them a few months ago for my first grow(candy kush) and they came out pretty decent even though i made tons of mistakes. So best of luck ill be following along mate

Thanks Sanguine, yea i was a bit skeptical on the AutoSeeds breed cause i really couldnt find alot of info online. I just really figured since the name of the company was AutoSeeds they surely knew what they are doing..lol. Anyways, so far I am pleased with this auto pounder and what mistakes i do make I sure hope we still get good results. Glad you could tag along and im thinking about SCROG - did you do that?

No man i havent tried a scrog yet, i grow in a tent and disnt want to make it too hard to water them. I had 4 in 11litre pots and just let them do their thing.

UPDATE - DAY 24 FROM SEED

She is exposing great potential with a current measurement reading of 17" (43cm) tall and 15" (38cm) wide. Today was 3rd watering and only distributed 1/2gal (2 liters) aerated Ph 6.5 RO water with 1/4 strength CaMg...just a little run off came out of the bottom so i felt as this was suffice. Next feeding when ready will bump up to 1/2 strength nutrient blend. Also I will be changing the light MH 400 watt to the HPS 400 at day 30.

*Note the lighting was moved up with an equally spaced distance as the plant growth rate excelled. Avg dis. was 14" (12"-16") from top of plant to bottom of canopy. Every day i moved a chain link and with the last week almost 2 links per day. My concern with this is now the lower spots are at even a further distance away so I was thinking of starting LST or SCROG and lower back down the light? Any helpful advice would be greatly noted!

Very bottom leaves showing slight nute burn on tips? Should I be concerned? I almost feel like this is expected. Keep calm and grow on...:crying:
