New Grower Auto Pounder - First Indoor Grow

Agree about watering, keeping pots independent helps and you can turn them for other reasons. I have 0.7mx0.7m floor space and then divide that up amongst pots to make squares (4potsx 0.35x0.35 etc). I try to train each pot independently to cover it's 'square', anywhere in there and above is theirs. When I fill that space with a girl, I let growth go vertical and cope with differences in height by raising lower pots. I grow 3-4 different strains at a time, another reason separate pots helps.

You got any good ideas for things to use to build pots upto diferent heights? My biggest plant is 4 1/2 foot from the floor and smallest is 2 1/2 foot im using buckets at the minute

SiriusB sorry to hijack your thread bro

I use something more scientific than a bucket;

index.php

Tbh if I had to regularly make up 2'+ I'd have to consider building something/buying racking.
Sorry if this is hijacking.

Nice use for stacking! I was thinking something i can jack up and down easily like maybe a hydraulic jack! :smokeout:

LST was a failed attempt as I realized it really is doing it on its own...lol.

NO worries post away friends the more the better! Thanks for the help everyone! I have been overwhelmed with information!

I AM AMAZED in what has happened in last 3 days. So I have been busy with family in town and really not doing my usual full attention but still moving light and checking water. From Wed 6/3 to tonight it has grown 9 vertical inches and almost 11 wide...WTF. This thing is HUGE quick, as i was expecting a smaller auto plant hence the auto cycle, but i have a feeling this may be a monster on day 28 from seed! How bout some feedback? I still havent changed to HPS either...2 more days. Also I thought i would be able to grow 3-4 plants in my grow area..haha not after seeing this one. :jump:

I would say another 3 weeks of vertical growth if they are 3 weeks old. You can feed both the growth and bloom nutes together if they have started putting out flowers. Use 1/4 strength each to make 1/2 strength nutes. Watch the tips of the leaves and if they start curling down cut back on the growth nute (I assume it has more nitrogen than the bloom nutes).
They will probably grow another 15-21 inches (38cm-53cm) if they grow a half inch to one inch per day.
Remember when they were tiny babies?

Armanidog is correct. My plant grew massively all the way to day 45. Continuing to get taller as it flowered just not as aggressively. Don't let "autoflowers are small" fool you. While I've had some autos be 13in tall on harvest (68 grams) , I've had an auto grow to 62" on harvest (372 grams). GOOD LUCK MATE!
