Dutch Passion Auto Glueberry OG: 1000W HID RDWC Hydroponics

Sorry, reverse supports? Do you mean once the branches are pulled through the cage I should tie them from the outside back onto the outer cage? Hopefully that question makes sense... Sadly, I just currently don't have room for a 3rd cage on each. Also, your plant looks amazing, she's so happy and healthy! You my friend, are a master at training outdoor plants. The top of your plant is flat as a table! @912GreenSkell

Darn it...just realized i never did the update to the monster training manual to include the reverse supports...the theory is this...once branches get too thick and rigid if you try to pull down on them you might/will likely risk having a stalk split at the branch to main stalk transition. To stop this from happening use a hook at mid branch to take the downward force instead. Taking pics of reverse supports is difficult, but i do have a couple. lousy pics....better than that, i drew you a quick diagram

so the downward force for you would be your outer perimeter fence, all you need is some reverse supports to take the force. I made mine by using heavy coathanger wire and bending them into a loop...i then bend the top of the shaft 90 degrees and drilll a hole through a piece of touch bamboo and insert the end of the wire and they bend the tag over...tape it up with some dutch tape and its a done deal. I am sure i have pics of that process somewhere if you are confused.

Dude (@912GreenSkell )... People like you are the reason I post my grows on this site. Nothing is a competition and most people on AFN genuinely seem to get joy out of teaching others. Thanks so much for the drawing. I totally understand that technique now and will definitely be utilizing that on my plants within the next few weeks once most of the branches are poking through! That is such a great idea when room for another cage isn't possible.

Wish I could give you reputation, but I'm still too much a noob to have that ability on this site. Haha you'll need to know I'm giving it to you in spirit. :pass:

"Not for a weed free country or continent, but for a weed free world, unite and grow, for a better, kinder planet"

Thanks guys, the motivation makes it that much easier to get outside in 100 degree+ heat to water. I love trying new techniques, and I've been thinking about how I can incorporate it into my grow. The abundance of growing styles makes this hobby infinitely exciting,

Thanks for everyone who followed along, I think it's time to bring this journal to a close, minus to smoke report. This was one HELL of a plant, and I'm already looking forward to growing it again. Maybe supersoil would be a better option. Haha

Currently making some wax from a few "throw away" nugs from the Glueberry. Actually, it is turning out better than expected. Super excited to try this!

@ThinkBig sometimes life gets in the way man. No need to apologise!
Firstly i need to rep slap you for that hydro monster
:slap: real beauty of a plant. And really nice yeild. 1000w is a great light although i cant help but think maybe two smaller lights angled in on each other wouldve seen you smash that yeild- just an idea brother!

Training in dwc is tricky as you need to remove the lid for res changes but you could make a cage that connects to the lid only with cable ties

That outdoor plant is a beauty too my man- wish i could do that here but if i get a week of sunshine in july its considered a good summer lol
