Indoor Auto Critical Kush / Mars Hydro Grow (please critique where needed)

Hey @ANTiFA , the benefit if using a 24/0 is more growth in the beginning stages, the ruderalis genetics can handle this as its more natural to its life cycle anyway, if you chose to do this now, there is no guarantee it wont stress it to the point that it wont make some "nanners".. On the next grow, give the 24/0 a shot till about 30-35 day's then move the schedule down to 20/4 or 18/6.. You might see better/quicker growth.. There are some members that run 24/0 start to finish.. I choose an 18/6 start to finish. There are varying opinions as to which is better

Good deal. Apologies if all this is like, 101 level info. I was more active on here awhile back and then kinda just fell off the face of the earth for awhile, so what little I had already learned kinda evaporated, lol. I love that this place is one of those forums that just has cool people willing to share their info, without a lot of snark or ego or drama. Makes it a hell of a lot easier and more comfortable for us new kids. :pass:

Some more pics. Sorry for the slightly crappy quality on some - my camera skills definitely leave something to be desired! If you look close at the first two pics you can kinda see the little brown spot I mentioned in an earlier post. It was larger a few days ago when I first noticed it, so I guess whatever caused it is correcting itself. None of the other leaves show any signs of distress at all. The plant is starting to lean a bit - the newer stem growth is noticeably thicker than the lower sections, so I'm going to start tying her up a bit later this evening so she has a bit of support. Not sure I'll actually be trying any LST this time around - I bent her over gently (man, that just sounds wrong :eyebrows:) this morning at lights-on to see how she tolerated it and I'm not sure her stem would withstand it yet.

Anyway, on to the pics! 20170312_F.jpg 20170312_E.jpg 20170312_C.jpg 20170312_B.jpg 20170312_A.jpg

Alright! Here we are on Day 29. It's amazing to see the growth this plant puts out on a day-to-day basis. She's drinking about a quart a day, and no apparent nutrient issues so far.

Can anyone give me advice on foliage management? I was planning to LST her, but I feel like the time to start that has likely passed. She's bushing out quite a bit and there are tons of leaves everywhere, some of them blocking what look to be the very beginnings of pre-flower. I did some leaf tucking this morning at lights-on, but I wonder - would the removal of a few fan leaves here and there be out of the question? I just want to make sure she's getting decent airflow and a bit more light penetration than she's getting so far.

Here's some pics!

One more little update. After looking again at her yesterday I realized the leaf tucking wasn't going to be enough, so I went and picked up some snips and plant ties and got to work. I only took off 4 fan leaves, but in my opinion it made a hell of a lot of difference. Still worried I might break something when I'm bending stems to LST, but so far so good. Next time I will start earlier.

I noticed something going on with one of my fan leaves as well. It looks like I might have spilled a bit of nutrient water on the leaf and it got a little baked under the lights, or maybe the fan has been blowing on it too strongly. The leaf edge feels kinda crispy, and it's just weird looking. If anyone has any input I'd be grateful!

20170321_3.jpg Compare this with the shots I posted yesterday, and you can see how much even taking a few fan leaves off opened her up.
20170321_2.jpg The weird damaged spot.
20170321_1.jpg A different angle. Anyone know what's up?

one finger of one leaf probably just a lil nute splash,i do it all the time all thumbs.
looking good.

Thanks! Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards as well, but got some other good suggestions for things to look out for that may have caused it over in the Infirmary section.

Aargh. Seems like there are still some issues being had. Not sure what's up, but I assume it's some sort of deficiency. Here's a few pics in case anyone is interested.

Other than that, she's coming along great. Can't wait to see some pistils start popping!
