Distilled water costs me $1.00 in Texas so unless some of you seasoned growers tell me otherwise that's what I will use. I also am using general organic nutes and was told by the grow shop folks that when using distilled water, no ph checks are needed. But I can tell you from experience that that doesn't hold true when using Fox Farm soil. Never will I use that again.

Dude i think its bulls*it, u should check ph with distilled water as well. Fertilizers are influence the ph.

Great info. But with using gbd soil, I don't use nutes. Just cal/mag and water.Guess it doesn't hurt to check

Good Morning Folks-

It appears she is doing well as she is now on Day 19. Didn`t know if I should feed her more cal/mag on this watering, so I did with another teaspoon of cal/mag.

Please let me know your thoughts as I think she is beginning to pre flower.

Thats what I wanted to hear Blue! Just wasn`t sure if I should feed her with cal/mag on every watering. Last watering was 8 days ago as I want her to dry up some.

Is it RO water? If not, then i don't think it's necessary to feed cal/mag with every feeding. (although my water seems to be high in calcium)

8 days is quite a long time, but looking good. Pick up your pots daily to check the weight - don't let it get too light ^_^
you'll know if your plant's thristy by the leaves drooping, but ideally you don't want to see your leaves drooping - so get in the first!

I am using distilled water Blue. My tap water is too high in ph.

Ahh i see! I don't have any experience using distilled water.

I use PH down to correct my PH! - It's quite important to a continually healthy grow.
Gotta dash off now - I'll check in later!

Some on this forum say use tap water for minerals, some say no. So I'm confused.
