Sweet Seeds Atulip's Sweet Side - Organic Led

Day 15

Topped off with a little worm castings and given a light GO feeding. Looks like killer kush got a little nute splash last week and that slowed her down. We're very neglectful of our plants at Atulips house.

Cree cobs are definitely an upgrade. Based on my other grow finishing in here, should be close to 1.5gpw, where I was happy getting .75gpw before. My electric usage was nearly cut in half from my total upgrade too, though it takes a while to see those electrical savings back.

Heat was my biggest issue, main tent had a 600w HPS, and last year some days were so hot it had to be cut to 50% power. Opposite issue now, these cold winter days have my temps hitting 60℉ in dark, so I cranked lights to 24/7 to keep everything warm. My wife made a good point to me the other day, even at 6 hours extra light a day for my whole setup, it's only $20 a month. I need less than a 1% increase in expected yield to cover added electrical expenses. So if 24/0 lights pull 2 grams more in this tent than 18/6 would, it's worth the added monthly costs.

Hoping these do well, they're in the 2gallon pots, so a simple 1oz per nets 500gpm2.

The Jack47s look great, I have high hopes for them. Considering trying the f1 photo periods, curious whether autoflowers or SoG clones would produce the most yield the fastest. I figure 2 weeks to clone, 2 weeks to veg, 8 weeks to flower puts us at 84days, where most autos are done.

Thanks, I'll be keeping a eye on your progress. most of the year heat and RH are a big issue so any heat savings helps not to mention the elec & elec to cool it. Just getting back going after a couple decades plus raising fam and stuff. It's a whole new world finishing up sum test B S and just started some we ordered.
the forums and people like you help tons !

Consider a dehumidifier. High humidity is also an issue here, and in tents I'm seeing about 10-15% more RH inside the tent. I keep a dehumidifier keeping the room at 40% so my tents stay 50-55%. A GE 50L dehumidifier set me back $150, but it's also big enough to dehumidify my whole house(my exhaust fans vent in the attic) but last summer I worried about mold when RH hits 70%+ on those hot sticky summer days.

As for cob leds, if you haven't already, check growmau5 on YouTube, he's got a 7 part DIY led series, biggest reason I went to cree cobs. There are some good Cree cob lights on the market now too, but it's still a bit of an investment. I've got one purchased PLC cx300 in my other tent(Mephistos grow link in sigbature)

dH might do it but might as well put in a portable a/c since i have both issues most months. just for the closet thats open & exchanging air w fans (and running cfl & cheaper leds) we have to make it to cold in the room and its not summer yet and yes need the tent to move up all the areas lol .... always improving.

Yes Sir? I have watched a bunch of the videos and checked out some of his threads too as well as some of the other as well Im prob going to have to do it in sets of 2 or 3 or so ~ Bar at a time
