Terrible, one of the worst grows I've ever had. So bad I'm embarrassed to show them. It was my own fault and I obviously know better. I hurried to get them going and didn't let my soil mix cook for awhile before planting. The pH dropped way down, to 5.2 in a couple pots. I added lime but didn't add enough. By the time they finally got going a bit they were already stunted. The pH was still too low so I had to add hydrated lime to bring it up faster. That's always a last ditch thing and while it got the pH back up to the proper range, the damage had been done. I've harvested the Coffee, the Dark Devil and the Chem City Blues. The Dark Devil is okay but the other two are going for RSO. The Black Jack and NL x BB will be another week. They look descent. I'm shutting down for the summer after I harvest those. Temps are already higher than I like. I'll start back up in the fall.

I've got plenty of good material here, composted cow manure, wood chips and goat manure, to make a good mix. I'm going to pick up a 30 gallon drum, mount it on a couple of pipe and make a rotating composter. I'll have some good soil ready by the time fall gets here and I start my autos back up again.

LMAO, I had forgotten about Gary. How's the old boy doing these days? I'm actually looking to get 3 goats soon. Looking for the right deal. Heard about someone yesterday who might be willing to barter goats for bud. Those are the deals I like. Had my house reroofed 3 years ago for the cost of the materials plus 6 oz. Got my female shepherd for $200 and 3 oz.

I was thinking of throwing a couple of plants outside this year. They haven't flown in 3 years, not since the Sheriff's son got busted growing outdoors 2 years in a row. 2,400 plants one year and 1,500 the next. Since then, no more choppers. Coincidence? Me thinks not. I haven't grown outdoors in about 5 years. I've got some of LBH's bigger haze seeds I'd like to give a try before they get any older. I loaned out all my 10 gallon pots but I've got some 15 I can use.

Yep, it happens for sure. I'm not overly concerned. There's always next time.

I did manage to get two half way descent plants out of this run, the Black Jack and the NL x BB. I harvested the BJ last week and the NL x BB yesterday. The yields aren't going to be much but enough to restock my stash.

A friend approached me and wants me to grow autos for him. After thinking it over I bit the bullet and ordered a 5k BTU A/C unit for my grow box. It should be here tomorrow. That will allow me to now grow year round. I've got some wiring to do first. I've been running my exhaust fan on a variable speed controller. When the temp goes above 82 it comes on and exhausts until the temp drops. With the A/C, I won't want that. I ordered a timer and will install that, then run the exhaust off of it. Given that the box is only about 100 cubic feet, I'm thinking I'll only need to run it for about 5 minutes once an hour. Just long enough to exchange the air and bring in fresh. In the winter I'll switch it back to the variable speed one.

Here's a couple of pics of the last two plants. First the Black Jack.

And the NL x BB.
