Good job Anthro! Top notch pukka bud there pal!

One of my mystery Sweet Seeds plants has red stems and branches, I wonder if its a RP?!

Max rep for you my son :slap:

Peace

Thanks nuteburn! It might be! There's a few things in the Sweet Seeds lineup that might have that, but whatever it is, you'll really like anything from Sweet :)

In other news...
The babies are friggin preflowering already yikes! It might be the youngest I've seen pistils yet, I'll have to check my timestamps of my pics, because I'm still not writing anything down haha, but they are young! Extremely healthy though all around! Vibrant greens, good stems, haven't consumed their cotyl leaves, and nice long white pistils :) I admit I wasn't expecting pistils anytime soon lol!

Hi friends, tis samurai sword time for lady BBG1. She performed wonderfully and was on track for a huge production so I thought, but it plateaued early and stopped growing more buds... I'd say it plateaued about two weeks ago and I kept thinking it would hit a final explosion that never happened lol. Never seen this before, so I don't know, must just have been the genetic luck of the draw, as since the others all got the same lovely nutrition and continued producing. No biggie really, and the younger sister BBG2 is already much larger all over and on track for bigger production unless it goes flat too lol.

I'm going to guess I'll be a bit under an ounce, but quality looks very high and tasty, although I've not sampled it yet. Density is moderate, with fair clusters spaced far apart. Density could have been much better, but it's not quite airy at least. Fresh smell is strong, of pine, herb, fruit, and spices. Leaf and stem taste test is light and sweet, no bitterness at all, which is an important sign of no excess salts or nutes :)

On with the final live pics:

Last tent pic, see she's consumed bout all the fan leaves and halfway through the bud leaves.

After the Anthro Stage 1 trim job. Decent bud profile, main cola could be much better in my opinion, but I think it was just this plant. Fair amount overall, certainly not blowing any records lol.
+
IMG_20141024_083915.jpg
The cola took on some neat colors in latter days, not typical of the Bubblegum I've seen pictures of. I believe this is simply the cold weather, but not complaining about it :)
+
IMG_20141024_084024.jpg
Mid level flowers are of nice quality, fair trichome coverage, albeit not as large as I predicted early on.

IMG_20141024_084036.jpg
Oh another of the cola...

The side and low buds are still of good quality and resin, although could be slightly less mature. Very pretty and pleasant smelling nonetheless :)

And that's that! She's cut and hung whole, will check it in a few days and decide if she needs another trim and jars yet. All in all a great plant and great strain. No problems at all, loved the organics, and liked the fabric pot. The early flattening out was disappointing but no big deal, I still think this strain capable of much higher density and yield. Flavors to follow up later. I hear that the actual bubblegum smell and taste is a total random, but only achievable with a long proper cure, so ask me about New Years if it ever smelled or tasted like bubblegum lol :)

More news today on the RP, will post separately.

Jarring Pics: Red Poison beauty glamour sparkley trich pics lol:
Final weight going into jars: 20.4 Grams, so under the estimated ounce, but that's okay. Trust me this is really strong stuff and will last me quite a while!

I chose to bring them inside from the tent, really about a half day or day early before "perfectly" jar-ready dry. I did this because the tent can dry them too fast for me, and so I've been jarring early now and just leaving the lids off more as needed. As you can see, the RH on the jar after sealing is between 70 and 80, obviously too high, so I'll leave it off for a few hours and seal it up for a while, and repeat. After a couple days of that, it's usually ready for the standard burping for a few days then a sealed cure...That is if I can manage to keep my now sticky fingers out of this AMAZING smoke long enough for it to do a proper cure lol!

Some of the "fresh" smells are greatly diminished for the moment, but the cure will bring that back and even better. Great news: doesn't smell like hay as the crappy Smurfberry did haha!

Ok that's it for Red Poison #1, she's in two jars now. The slow and stunted Red Poison #2 is verrrry slowwwwly starting to grow, so I may get another batch of flower of this lovely herb.

If you're on the fence about Red Poison, go ahead with it, you'll be glad you did. It's by far one of the "prettiest" and coolest looking Cannabis plant's I've ever seen in life or pictures. If grown right, and it's evident that I certainly got close to the mark here, it will make very strong smoke.

Will be doing a quick grow review journal under the Sweet Seeds subforum, check that out soon:

Hey welcome indoutdo! They're doing excellent, the Pink Ladies have really impressed me for freebies, although they look like totally different plants from each other haha! Same with the Grapefruit Punch too actually. The Grapefruit Punch are still short though, and I think mine are going to stay short and not make much herb, but it does smell like citrus! The Pink Ladies are going to be ready to harvest sometime soon, they're using up their fan leaves and pistils are turning orange, and they're the same age as the ones I'm harvesting now, just acting a little slower. Will have a picture update of everything soon, probably tomorrow :)

Ok I'll be waiting on that pic as I have both of the same going

Tent pics + update time woohoo!! Hey friends, time for another overall update of the remaining science experiments lol.

The small fat one is my favorite :) it's got a great structure, just kinda compacted down and smushed looking lol. Smells fairly strong of citrus. I think it's only like 10 or 12 inches tall, but is totally caked in crystals yum yum! The density is extreme, almost too dense lol.

The bigger one is more airy, has little smell so far, and only adequate trichome profile. Still good looking smoke, maybe a high B Grade. Both are very healthy with no problems, and they love the General Organics.

Stunted, Red Poison #2:

IMG_20141025_100937.jpg
After a month of being a stuck stunted seedling, RP #2 is finally springing into action :) I don't know how it'll turn out, but I am still feeding it and just kinda letting it do its own thing.

Afghan Kush Ryder:

AKR is coming along fine and normal, nothing really to say yet. Preflowering has begun, side branches are forming, nice and healthy.

Blue Dream Auto:
IMG_20141025_101013.jpg
There's definitely something different or special with this plant :) it's forming a strange structure already... One of the leaves failed to start and was weird, but the adjacent branch appears fine. Healthy so far.

It's turning into a monster lol! Definitely the largest plant I've had so far! Flowers are coming along nicely, very healthy overall, structure is not symmetrical though.

Like the GP twins, the short fat one has better density and trichomes. It's been changing color too, showing signs it could be ready in a week or so. I think it's Day 72 for them? Same age as the ones just harvested.
IMG_20141025_101130.jpg
Oops there's the short one again...

IMG_20141025_101140.jpg
Whatever... Got my pics out of order :/ The big one is doing great too, more airy again like the bigger GP, but really good trichomes and yield looks to be better.

Blueberry auto:

What a weird plant... It's basically a long stick with a few bud sites going up it lol! Density is very high though, and does kinda smell like blueberry :) I was going to chop it today but decided to wait some more and see if it puts on any more weight... I doubt it will. Side buds look nice though, covered in trichs.

That's it for now, basically everything is fine and smooth, very healthy.

Quite a line-up....like a football team in there :)
