Looks like you have your hands full there, brother! Keep up the good work.

Yeah I'm so ready for mine to start budding I like that short pink lady...my grapefruit is already pre flowering at 14days from peeking out soil but the pink ladies are b.s. to me bcuz they stunted right off the bat but it might be seedsman genetics seeing as my freebies were supposed to be sour crack but they say they messed up

Well, methinks the AutoUltimate seed fizzled out after cracking... That's 2/5 of Herbie's seeds fizzle out, I swear they're selling old stale seed. My Seedsman beans have been about 100% I think, and my blackmarket beans about 95%, so it's interesting that my and others' Herbie's seeds have troubles. My fault for buying individual beans... Again damnit lol. I think I'll pony up the cash and get a proper fresh breeder pack of the DP AutoUltimate, get the fancy packaging anyways :) I like collecting those cool packages.

Trying to save money now and not buy beans... but :( I hate the empty space in the tent now lmao! Well, I'm going to wait a couple days to be sure about the fizzle out, and maybe pop my Heavyweight FnV bean, but I really really really really wanted to run a DP super auto now that I have enough experience. Grrr :p

Jarring Pics: Red Poison beauty glamour sparkley trich pics lol:
Final weight going into jars: 20.4 Grams, so under the estimated ounce, but that's okay. Trust me this is really strong stuff and will last me quite a while!

I chose to bring them inside from the tent, really about a half day or day early before "perfectly" jar-ready dry. I did this because the tent can dry them too fast for me, and so I've been jarring early now and just leaving the lids off more as needed. As you can see, the RH on the jar after sealing is between 70 and 80, obviously too high, so I'll leave it off for a few hours and seal it up for a while, and repeat. After a couple days of that, it's usually ready for the standard burping for a few days then a sealed cure...That is if I can manage to keep my now sticky fingers out of this AMAZING smoke long enough for it to do a proper cure lol!

Some of the "fresh" smells are greatly diminished for the moment, but the cure will bring that back and even better. Great news: doesn't smell like hay as the crappy Smurfberry did haha!

Ok that's it for Red Poison #1, she's in two jars now. The slow and stunted Red Poison #2 is verrrry slowwwwly starting to grow, so I may get another batch of flower of this lovely herb.

If you're on the fence about Red Poison, go ahead with it, you'll be glad you did. It's by far one of the "prettiest" and coolest looking Cannabis plant's I've ever seen in life or pictures. If grown right, and it's evident that I certainly got close to the mark here, it will make very strong smoke.

Will be doing a quick grow review journal under the Sweet Seeds subforum, check that out soon:

Thanks friends!

Stunning buds bro, can't REP ya-would if I could! :kusht:

Hey there bro! Yeah I wasn't too impressed with the Seedsman house freebies' genetics, until just recently when they started almost impressing me haha late in flower. The pictures showed them all huge and bushy with lots of bud.... And they ended up tiny short bushes lol. I'm more impressed with the Pink Lady than the GPunch. I see why they're free lol. Fun little plants for building experience though, just don't expect anything miraculous from them haha :)

Alchemy lab pictorial update: Being out of medicine yesterday, (not out of smokeable herb, just out of oil/oral medicine), I made a sacrifice in the name of pseudoscience lol. The goal was to continue my work towards making awesome medicinal capsules, so I definitely wasn't going to sacrifice any Red Poison, Bubblegum, or Blueberry. Looking at my plants, I decided Pink Lady #2 would be the sacrificial lamb lol. It was about ready to chop anyways, at D72 I think? Anyway, I did the usual trim of any leaves without trichomes. (Grow note: the Pink Lady from Seedsman is excessively leafy, compared to other primo bred strains).

Next I cut the very top cola and hung it normally to dry for regular smoke... It was just too damn beautiful to crush up into caps lol :) Then cut the rest into branches which would be going into the decarboxylation toaster next. (Medical note: if you have a sensitive stomach for raw greens, DO NOT do any of this lol. You'll want to use properly cured [2+ month?] bud which has dissipated its' chlorophyll. I'm crazy and have no problem regularly eating whole raw cannabis leaves, stems, and flowers.)

Final trim and pics of Pink Lady #2 freebie from Seedsman:

Trichome content was very high and dense on this girl. Terpenes were strong, of mint and grapefruit / citrus. Ironic since this isn't one of the Grapefruit Punch's yet still so strong of pink grapefruit smells.
IMG_20141026_132607.jpg
Top cola weighs 12.2 grams wet, so probably about 3 grams dry later.
IMG_20141026_134308.jpg
The rest of the flowers plus sugar leaves, minus the main stalk, weighs 27.4 grams wet, so would probably have been 6 or 7 grams proper dry. Went into the toaster at about 125~150 F for 60 minutes to dry. After the dry, went an additional 60 mins at 240~250 F to decarboxylate.
IMG_20141026_162314.jpg
Cooked :) Note: everything is very fragile at this point and will crumble easily. Now I carefully take the herb inside, delicately remove everything from the stems, and put into the mortar and pestle. It doesn't take much muddling to get it into a nice fine consistency, not quite powder, but about the consistency you'd see in other herbal capsules. About 15 minutes of gentle muddling while watching tv.

Then, into a couple caps to test it out. Took two capsules on an empty stomach and then had a big dinner. Effects were slow to kick in, and about 45-60 minutes later I felt them. It certainly is not the "high" feeling like when smoked, it is a more rounded medicinal feel, with emphasis on body and pain relief which is exactly what I need for my destroyed back and shoulder thanks to a stupid Iraq war. Effects peaked at about 1.5 hrs from taking, with the trademark auditory shift and slight light-headedness. Sleepy feeling became strong at about 2.5 hours. Went to bed at about 4 hrs, still feeling good in the body and back, slept very well and awoke extremely well rested :)

So, these are steps in the right direction! I'll continue the work in this area and eventually find the perfect thing for my back and shoulder relief. I definitely need much more product to work with lol. I need to hurry up and grow one of those 3+ ounce monsters. For me personally, I find it good medicinal practice to include as much leaf material as possible, as long as it's well trichomed lol. Others would have a problem with this for various reasons, and that's okay. Thanks for stopping by friends!

Helpful chart on decarboxylation max temperatures / boiling points of important Canabinoids: stay well under these temps to preserve the contents of your herb! Taken from www.marijuanagrowershq.com/decarboxylating-cannabis-turning-thca-into-thc/
Chemistry note: when it says "boiling point" that's code word for go bye bye lol. If the chemicals hit these boiling points, they're gone, evaporated into the air. I think 250 F is a good safe place to decarb at, but it could be pushed higher. Needs more research.

So it looks like it turned pink for you? Was it a very fruity smell?

Yeah it did kinda turn pink, somehow it does look more pink in the pictures than it was in real life. Maybe the top cola will look even more pink when it's done drying in a few days. Still have one more Pink Lady, it's a bit slower along, I'm going to let it go long and see what it looks like late in life :) Oh the smell wow, when it was in the tent I couldn't smell it at all! But then when I took it out, it smells amazing, not too much like "weed", a little bit, but very very strong pink grapefruit smells, like sweet fruit + pink grapefruit, not like the sour grapefruit lol. They must be related to the Grapefruit Punch somewhere up the line. My hands and toaster smelled like grapefruit for hours lol. I still don't know but I really wonder if the smoke from it tastes like pink grapefruit too.

Yeah one guy who grew it said it was the best thing he ever smelled
