Extraction Another solventless extract attempt ?!?

the olive oil in the water was just a side experiment.no olive oil has been harmed in the main extraction experiment.
depends how pure the water is % if its a solvent or water extraction,in the same way as bubble bag extraction is a water not solvent extraction.
guess the 2 lumps need a few hours to harden up,still a bit gooey ?

Smoke report!!
Okay smoke report
I got tied up doing some other things but rest assured i was high!!

Get ole faithful out for something different...

I rolled the "worm" out flat. And good thing..it had a bit of water which was squeezed out which could have caused it to develop mold ..... I started with the right.. Has a decent taste. Mine did not full melt,it coupe possibly be made cleaner with a few more filterings
image.jpeg
next for the filter hash .... Good flavor but a bit more planty flavor.hits good!!
Both have a nice stone, combined give a one two punch
For ease: if you have the simple materials i used , i give it a 1 as in easiets
Summary:
While neither were full melt ,both provide an easy potent product,my process can be improved through more filtering but as a first attempt i'm not complaining..... The one issue may be getting the 11.5 water,so do some checking, dont use tap or bottled as a shortcut... I will defo use this process in the colder months indoor
Best Part: no flammable solvents were used... A win for the site!!!!!

Yes,Thank you for that @archie gemmill ,

nice work budelee.other than the water everything else needed is in the kitchen anyways.no safety precausions or hard hats needed.
could even have other uses, like if something else was dried for to long till it was rock hard.this could bring it back to a more workable state easier than eth or iso.
interesting stuff.

Ya, im surprised it was not greener too,..it did take longer to purge but a great process imo:thumbsup: i have some fresh cut( yesterday) buds..im gonna freeze up some and do a "live rosin " this week and post that.. The stalks and heads should be easier for the water to pull the oils....

@budelee producing the goods! :d5:
this method is ridiculously easy to follow for my simple minded brain.
How did you get the ph to 11.5, did you just use some ph up? Or have I missed some information, when I do it I might strain it twice then switch to a slightly finer filter, what do you reckon?
Thanks for going out of your way and putting your own herbs on the line for us! You are a true hero

outside of the extraction.
looking back at the first pic of the olive oil and 11.5ph water mix.the oil is allready starting to bead up,rather than sitting as a layer ontop of the water as regular tap water below 7 ish ph.

regular tap water and olive oil mix shortly after a shake about
IMG_3514.JPG

allready a layer forming after 2 mins.still an emmulsion of sorts of oil and water at the bottom.
im not expecting to see a cloudy white solution and a small ish layer of oil ontop like what budelee has in 12 ish hours time.
why is there a small layer on budelee jar, could it be like eth/iso there is a saturation point ? a smidge less oil and it would all have been white ?
