Hey there just seen the thread. Love me some catfish. Closest place to get blues by me is hour and half away so I stick to flatties and channels more. But I go a few trips. a year to get em. Best this year is about 20 pounds. PB is 41.3. Ended up frying some up last night shot off some fireworks and camped on the river and caught a couple channels. See theres some other that catfish/fish. Heck ya. Older fish photo and last night camp lol. All my pics of fish got me in em so dont want to edit too many. I do wish I was. a little further south more to enjoy the blue action.

Damn! @Boognelson87 . Nice fish. Tomorrow will be my 5th time out since April. Not sure where ur at but it’s too hot here in Texas to camp during these next few months
It was 108 here yesterday with 95% humidity and heat index. Spent alot of time in the chair in the water lol. Why we made the shade awnings too. Texas I'm sure is hotter. Any luck this year?

Some nice kitties there! I havent had too much luck in this heat. Should be coming out of their post spawn funk and picking up though.What you using?

Excellent result. I bet your freezer can hear those fillets coming.
I managed to get out myself for a few days, and came back with one 30lb halibut and 5 coho (silvers to some on here). Sadly, no pics. I just got them put in the freezer this morning. I hadn't been planning to go out, but an electrical issue came up on the boat, so I had to head out to the boat to deal with it, so I figured weather be damned, I might as well go out since I was there anyway. Next phase is buy another battery charger. Boats. Holes in the water into which one shovels money. Or, sailing is like ripping up hundred dollar bills while standing in a cold shower. I certainly got my dose of rain on the way back. Anyway, the halibut at ~$30Cdn/lb pretty much paid for a new charger. Makes the other half much happier. Me too actually.
