New Grower Another AK Newbie Here: First Grow Ever

Well that's a wrap.

First grow finished.

We harvested the Polar Express last night. Wow, what a great harvest. 480 Grams wet, so taking the 75% rule into account, I figure this is somewhere a 4 ounce haul. Beautiful buds, great aroma, can't wait to smoke it!

Here are a few pics:

Also I have now tested the Cash Crop. Great smoke. I am overcoming jet lag, so super tired, but the Cash Crop has a great pick me up, but not super racy, so to speak. It seems like it is a great smoke for getting outside and hiking, fishing, skiing or some activity. Definitely not a bed time smoke.

I have the greenhouse grow growing. I'll get an update there. The Frisian Dew is coming along nicely, lots of purple. My biggest issue there is that the greenhouse is overtaken by our tomatoes which are massive and producing tons of fruit. Oh yeah, then there is the Onyx from @DarshAK which seems to be on an infinite timeline. Just when you think the buds are going to fatten up, she gets taller and adds more growth. . Not sure there.

Next up on the grow list. Going all Mephisto. I am wanting to do some comparisons of organic nutrients and I love experiments, so I am thinking about planting two Deep Blue C seeds and using different nutrients on them to compare. Leaning, right now, toward General Organics (which I have from this grow and wanting to move away from eventually) and Roots Organics. . .But I am open to suggestions and ideas.

Thanks Red! Yeah thankfully from all the salmon and food preservation we do, I have jars coming out of my ears. I recently complained about them to the Mrs... Now she says, 'see, I told you they'd be useful!"

Ha! Thanks @elsamurai!! I love this video.

I am pretty thunderstruck by my first harvest as well. I was pleased with the Cash Crop, pretty beside myself with the Polar Express. I'll get a full smoke report on both once they're all cured nicely. I'll try some scissor hash from the Polar Express this evening.

Holy cowbells! Congrats on a super beautiful product mate. This look just about perfect to me. So, from your wet weight, you can expect roughly 30% total weight after dry/cure?

Thanks for the rep @Alaskan1 ! Trying to make our fellow AK growers proud!

Thanks for the compliments Mojo!! As for wet-to-dry weight - I read here on this thread started by @Alaskan1 , and my first harvest confirms, that you can assume to lose around 75% of weight during the dry/cure process. I'll get some post-cure pics and weight posted up, along with a smoke report.
