New Grower Another AK Newbie Here: First Grow Ever

Yeah Mojo, definitely not going to rush it. Just trying to also plan ahead, as I am leaving the country for 10 days on Saturday. Luckily, they'll be well taken care of in capable hands of @DarshAK!

Frankly, every morning I go look at them, those buds get fatter and fatter, so I want to see them pack as much on as possible!!

The bar has definitely been raised, I'm gonna harvest my last two lowryder a on Thursday. There are no fan leaves left but the buds are still nice and green, still growing a bit and putting out some serious stench and resin, my last two I think I harvested too early so patience is best at least in my limited learning experience!!!!

Here's an update. Both girls on day 73.
They're both close. . . Thanks to a travel snafu (don't ask), my vacation was pushed by 5 days. Not sure if that is good or bad, in terms of harvesting. In my mind I had two weeks flush, then harvest, but I think we're getting really close.

Yellowing has started as you can see here, I would say a good number of leaves have fallen off. But what is there is still pretty green in some spots:



First up is the Cash Crop. I think she is closest to being ready to harvest. . wondering if even by Wednesday?



And here is the polar express:


Anyway, I couldn't be more excited about these girls. Deeply fearing they will need harvesting next week, when I am out of town (til the 30th). . . Fed on Saturday, thinking I'll start the flush on Thursday. . .unless someone suggests they are closer to harvest than I think.

I think you still have a little time for those leaves to get more yellow. The bud leaves should just be starting turn yellow I believe. So all the fan leaves should be yellow or dead and the bud leaves just turning. You might be ok. I think flush starting Thursday is good. Can yo use up a watering/flush timer when you are away? Seems that all that is left to do?

Right on. Good to hear. As for watering, @DarshAK will be looking in on them and if he needs to will go ahead and harvest. They'll be in good hands.

Well after staring at her and deliberating over a beer, @DarshAK and I decided to harvest the cash crop. She's dropped a lot of leaves over the past few days.

I'll wait on the Polar Express at least another week.

Cash Crop, is obviously an apt name - yielding 239 grams (wet)!

Here are a few pics:

The Mrs and I smoked the scissor hash last night and were promptly glued to the couch! Great high. Chill, but happy.

Can't wait for the cure and full smoke!
