Hello growers! I've been stalking pot forums and window shopping seeds for years; so to finally be in this part of my first grow feels a bit surreal. Hope everyone is safe and healthy with something good to smoke on!!
After seeing my first true leaves sometime around 3/8, I'm in my first weeks of flower (5/6). (I kinda lost track of time in veg somewhere.) It's feeling like somehow my veg was extended/stunted -- there was a moment that I thought my soil (Master Gardener Bumper Crop?) was too wet so I just spritzed 'em when the top inch of soil looked dry.
I started them without a tent under a Gixxer 1000 set to veg for a couple weeks but switched on the bloom cause why not. But after a few days of some nice growth I still felt like something was seriously lacking.
I've since picked up a BP1500 and a Marshydro 3x3 and moved the girls in there. I'm using the Gixxer set to bloom to start another 4 plants in some Stonington Blend this time and I gotta say they already look better than how this one started.
As for feeding I'm using a general purpose fertilizer, it's 10-2-8 and says it should last for up to 3 months before the next feeding. However, I did hit em with another half serving once I noticed we were in flower.
The Ladies:
This is a Black Gold from Cream of the Crop Seeds. I've only done some slight defoliation on her. No wires and I didn't trim off any suckers.
Black Gold from the top. I spin her around throughout the week for even light.
This is one of 2 Sweetberry Coughs from Garden of Green. I got tired of fighting her so her canopy won't be that even.
Although, she does look nice from the top!
Second Sweetberry.
And a Black Lemon from Exotic Seeds. Now she got pistol hairs all over.
Oh she's making me happy.
Anyways that's what I got. Any tips and tricks are welcomed!!
Talk soon
Peace
